I know we're supposed to be all doom and gloom around here, but can't there be one or two positive things to say without being shouted down because the "consensus" is that the rest of the season is a lost cause?

Since we're going to lose the rest of our games anyway, we might as well dump on everything.

Justin Hunter is our best WR and deserves some praise. Hope he has a great game against GA and helps us get a much needed win.

Hunter is the truth. I think he will go pro early though. He had a kid in June. Hope it is a boy and hope he comes to Tennessee

Oh yeah, you're right. I only pull for the Vols when we're winning!

My point was that until we start winning as a team, I don't think singling out individuals matters. So what if he's one of the greatest to ever play. If we're not winning and not a successful program who cares?

we are 3-1.. so unless a team is undefeated we shouldnt care?

Some moron on here last weekend posted a thread titled hunter is done. Well...I beg to differ. He's the best receiver we have currently and one of the best we've ever had. I believe for us to beat Uga this week we need hunter to be hunter. Anybody agree?

Hunter is a great receiver no doubt, but he's not one of the best receivers we've ever had, YET. Just to name some of the greatest off the top of my head:

Larry Sievers
Carl Pickens
Tim McGee
Joey Kent
Willie Gault
Stanley Morgan
Peerless Price
Marcus Nash
Cedric Wilson

I know I've left out some but here's to him hopefully being mentioned with this group.

Justin thank you for dropping passes in the Fla game and breaking my heart. Seriously I was way to opptimistic and needed to be brought back to earth. You are human and I had forgotten that.
With that said, I still believe in you so go out and destroy UGA. Please Please Please.....

What a garbage post. He is a great wide reciever and is just now one year post acl surgery.

No disrespect to you or to Justin Hunter but I don't think anyone deserves an appreciation thread until we start winning some ball games.

I despise these types of remarks! It takes a total a$$ to say something like this and it is disrespectful.:shakehead:

I'm not mad...:p

Funny all he people trashing Bray and Hunter. They have better stats then Murray and his WRs and UT has played better competition.

I look at this and see a close game this weekend. Maybe I am naive, but I don't see on paper where UGA is head and shoulders above UT. Their defense is more disciplined, but they have had 3 years in this scheme.

Their RBs havent played a true SEC quality D-line yet. I don't see them pushing us around. The LBs need to stay disciplined and not give up the easy ones.

JH has been special since he arrived on campus. I would love to have him back next year, but he will most likely be making a killing as some NFL team's feature WR on Sundays.
