Some moron on here last weekend posted a thread titled hunter is done. Well...I beg to differ. He's the best receiver we have currently and one of the best we've ever had. I believe for us to beat Uga this week we need hunter to be hunter. Anybody agree?

No disrespect to you or to Justin Hunter but I don't think anyone deserves an appreciation thread until we start winning some ball games.

yes i remember that person. Justin only is in the lead in the sec in main recieving categories and is one of the top recievers in the nation. He has only surpassed 70 yds being his lowest recieving total despite being double teamed every game. yet, yes he is done, :)...justin will continue to show out. Guys like him can not be stopped. A bad game to him is 70 yrds, which in college is a lot of yards recieving, and really any where. I think the game changer will have to be cordarrelle. this is his game i think.

Justin Hunter is a stud. He has great speed with great body control in the air. If he and the defender are going after the ball he will snag it 9 out of 10 times. I fear this will be his last year. Todd McShay already has him as the number one wide receiver in the draft if he comes out.

Not only is JH a straight-up baller, he's also got a great attitude as well.

People seem to be forget that he's only played in 4 games since last year's devastating ACL injury.

The guy obviously isn't quite 100% mentally yet.. Just gotta give him a little more time and the dropsies will be a thing of the past...

So let me get this straight---you will only support and appreciate one of the best football players to play at UT in the last few years if they win? If so, you're a bandwagon fan who will only support the team in the good times.

I appreciate JH as everyone should because he's a Tennessee vol footVol player.

He's a great WR but I appreciate ALL our footVol players.

VFL...GBO!!!

Agree JH, that poster was probably this guy right after he got out of the hospital and CP to have a blow out game, another coming out performance like NC State one would be awesome.

Oh yeah, you're right. I only pull for the Vols when we're winning!

My point was that until we start winning as a team, I don't think singling out individuals matters. So what if he's one of the greatest to ever play. If we're not winning and not a successful program who cares?

Yeah, clearly you're only a UT fan cause we've done so well since you joined here in November 2006.

You freakin bandwagon fans.

Hunter is a stud and a class act on top of that. To be honest though, maybe I'm expecting too much (although I think JH11 would agree with me), he has dropped too many already this year. In big situations too. He is a beast but there is definitely room for improvement.

I would like to see him not get tangles up with d backs when getting tackled there has been a few times this year where he looked like gumby going down. And only one other complaint with him he runs all 7's and 9's and drops crossing routes, but he he is so special running downfield and play jump ball its hard not to love him.

100% agree
If he pulled in those drops he would be truly elite. A few makes the difference between average, good, great and elite
