Tell you what OP why don't you see if you can strap the pads on in practice and show him how it's done one day this week? I'll bet some of his buddies would show you what they think of your farewell letter to him.

No he didn't play well. However he is still one of our players and doesn't deserve this.

Grumbling is one thing. Going full blown douche on the kid is another.

For your last game in Neyland, I say thank you for your contribution to UT, for being a VFL and for your leadership. Many SEC WR's would also like to thank you too and are miserable to see you go. So are most of the QB's we've faced, for the "look for 27" passing scheme that has helped many, some talented and some not so talented, will have to replaced with more coverage sacks, throwaways and hopefully turnovers. There will be at least a few OC's scratching their heads on what to run on 3rd and long when a first down or a long TD is needed. There will have to be another CB for the QB to look for when the play breaks down and has to get rid of the ball. Yes many will miss watching highlights at the end of the year with ol 27 chasing them all the way to the end zone. I appreciate the hustle! Hopefully the secondary will actually be better next year and I have to think your lac of presence will have something to do with it. Thanks again!

*In my best Steve Irwin voices* Crikey mate! We've found the majestic Butthurt Douche-nozzle in his natural habitat: an Internet sports forum. Isn't he a beaut?!

JC gave his all for Tennessee every week for four year. You should be ashamed. The guy has improved dramatically since his first start. Leave it be. I'm so sick of folks coming on here and absolutely field dressing some our play makers in the secondary. The guy has three picks and has made huge plays for us all season. He gets beat less than Moseley or Williams do. He is just the target because because everyone wants to throw to their slot and no one wants to throw to the same side as Sutton. And let's be honest here, Cam has not had quite the season we were expecting from him either this year. It's been a joy to watch Coleman play during his time at Tennessee. You guys are jerks. Seriously.

To the whiney little b*tches in this thread -- just exactly what have you contributed to UT football? Oh, you watch the games on tv? Maybe attend? Probably drink? Hell, you contribute so much I can't believe they didn't honor you on senior night.

Here's a thought, stop living vicariously through the success and failure of young adults who play a GAME. Your life will be a lot better once that happens.

Lol at your feel bad attitude for someone who gets to go to college for free to get burned on every play. And yes, I can do the same thing..

Wasn't nothing free about it. He had to work his backside off to get the opportunity and keep it. I'm sure you're natural God given talent carries you to the top in all you do but most of us have to work.

Pretty douce baggy post for a senior whose team lost on senior night and played decent coverage.

After a loss VolNation always singles out a player to lay the blame..stupid.

If you cant agree that the kid is not a good football player, and not ready for him to graduate then you are content with losing. His big play allowing capability is unexceptable, and until we replace these types of players nothing is going to change.

You could have spent so much typing time on something useful. Coleman is playing because we do not have any one better than him. If there was , Butch would have started another freshman.
This. It's not his fault we could never bring anyone in to take his spot.

Coleman is not a bad kid but he is not sec caliber now. We have 2 good cb's and 2 good safeties coming in and he will probably not see the field again unless he picks up his game. I am pulling for him to get better. *edit. my bad he is a senior I believe.

I get the assholish attitude, but the ignorance displayed by someone with a doctorate level degree is astounding. Solid work!

Has been the secondaries weakest link! Also not playing heads up on the onside kick. Would enjoy seeing the Berry brothers, T. Kelly Jr., Moseley, and Cam Sutton next season. Could be a secondary dream team.

Attitude? Ignorance? Are you kidding me?

Have you even watched #27 play over the last few years? I'm sure he's a great guy off the field, and I do appreciate his effort as a VFL....but as a fan it's just too easy to observe that he just can't cover--that's just the truth!!!

The true problem is with the DC who refuses either to 1) replace him with a faster athlete--i.e. Berry, or 2) refuse to continually put us in press-man coverage in 3rd and longs.....

I mean--just study the tapes to see that Coleman is continually burnt for huge plays in those situations....
