oh yeah, throw in Kenny Ladler as another Vandy player who tested very well at the combine. Finished as the best safety in the bench press, vertical and broad jumps. Which UT DB would've/could've tested this well? Yeah, that's what I thought.
I bet you could cover better than Coleman if you put your mind to it.Coleman was never a burner for top-end speed but he wasn't exactly slow.
His issue was he had horrible change of direction which is a critical facet for CBs.
Of course, he's about 2-4" too short to make up for being a 4.5 with cement hips when he has to pivot and follow on a deep route. He did well cutting routes under so I think he'll do fine at nickel.
Can't see him doing well at Safety.
