yeah coach oughta wrap that ball up when getting gang tackled. :gun:

A coach can teach a kid how to hold the ball and protect it you know when it appears he has a fumbling problem like Foster. If he doesn't put him on the bench. I think Fulmer has a crush on Foster or something.

I didn't read all of the replies but this one works for what I would have said. :good!:

PSU has less talent than UT. PSU had a better game plan than UT. PSU executed better than UT. PSU deserved to win the game. PSU still has less talent than UT.

To the Lion:
The two main reasons why the inferior team won the Outback bowl:

1. The PS quarterback played nine miles over his head in that game. A performance he never came close to before and probably never will again. Just a golden moment.

2. A very very lucky sideways bounce on the fumble run back for a touchdown. Ninety nine times out of a hundred that ball ends up in a pileup. But in this case no. I'm sure that sideways bounce to a guy away from the action with a wide-open sideline was in the Penn State gameplan.

I have always liked Penn State because of the coach and will continue. I just don't like whiners who WON coming in and arguing the truth. Face it, UT is more talented but PS was luckier on that day.

i would like to state that penn state fans, as a whole, are a great group of people. I have never met a PSU fan that I didn't like. Don't let the insane ramblings of RLR taint your view on the PSU program. Their fans are good-sports for the most part. PSU is an upstanding program, and their fans seem to reflect that.

When I found out we would be playing UT in the bowl game I started visiting this site to see what your expectations were. Having lived in the South for 10 years, I am well aware of the SEC only mentality the exists. After we have now defeated UT in a bowl game for the 3rd consecutive time, I would think you could find atleast one poster on this site that could muster up enough dignity to say, "Hey, Penn State beat us. It was a game of two equally matched teams, and today they made more plays to win the game." Instead all you hear are the cries of denial, that PSU is not any good and that UT justed played poorly. Or that you have more talent than us. Take off your SEC and Orange glasses and see the whole football world. Sometimes you just got to be a man and give others credit!
We got out coached and the better coached team won...you know yall were lucky to beat us...you know it, I know it, Joe Paterno knows it...

Buckethead, how appropriate a name. Anyway, was your superior talent helpful to you last year? Our talent was 1 sec away from undefeated. We recruit just as well as you do! Why do you feel you have more talent? Seriously?
