They have 2 huge permanent banners outside of their stadium. 1 celebrating their 2006 Music City Bowl Championship, and the other celebrating their 2007 victory. Hilarious.

Actually my exact words to my dad were "They'll probablly hang another if they beat us".

lol. it is kind of bush league. should only hang banners for SEC championships or NCs.

Kentucky has 1 National Championship in FOOTBALL, more than Tennessee can say about mens basketball

UT's womens bball titles are about as relevant as UK's bball titles in a football discussion

Is this relevant?

Either way, you don't see us hanging "SEC East Co-Champions" outside of Thompson Boling. That is pretty much equivalent to your Music City Bowl banners.

If you are talking about 1950, what about another team that went 11-1 and beat you?

That team of course being the Vols.

Standard operating procedure for Kensuckians. When in doubt, tout your basketball program -- which, ironically, hasn't won anything in over a decade. Men's basketball must be the only thing significant sport in Lexington.
