Just watched the Oregon vs. New Mexico Highlights...

I def agree with the NM sucks donkey gonads cause they do. BUT, don't be so arrogant as to think that the playbook is just going to be opened up with a first year starter at the helm before they find out how he reacts under pressure, which he has not seen yet.

I agree.

I watched that video and still feel just as nervous about this game. It was 28-0 at the end of the first half, and only one of those scores was blatantly due to poor coverage. The others might have had something to do with poor tackling, but damn that RB is fast.

UNM's defense seemed to quit when it's leader was injured early on, i don't think we really learned anything by stomping a clearly overwhelmed opponent. 34 hours to go :)

Actually, their version of the spread isn't similar to Florida's at all. It's actually a lot more creative and effective. :ermm:

Effective in the sense that you have never won a NC?

I dont see how your offense could be more effective than Fla's, unless you mean against your opponents which have a lot weaker Defense collectively than Fla's opponents do.

This is the most idiotic post I've seen in a LONG time. If you lose this game, you are out of the BCS championship picture, period. But I'm sure all you Duck fans would rather win the Rose bowl than the BCS.

I really think they would rather just win the Pac-10...

It's sad, but looking at their schedule, we are the only OOC threat they have. If they lose to a "down" SEC school, their NC run is over.

It's going to be a tough game for the Vols though. If we didnt have Wilcox at the helm of the Defense, I would say Oregon had the game before it started.

I think that our D will perform tremendously, and hopefully our SEC Pro-style running with a "fullback" that Oregon doesnt use, will catch their D off guard.

It's all about blocking at the line and letting Poole/ Oku make that intial cut and up the field they go.

Our Running and our LB play will be key to this game. I really think so.

We have a fast team this year, something the Kiffins started last year, Fast will be very helpful against a fast, tricky team like Oregon.

Good luck ducks with the rest of the season and I hope you win the Pac, but may your luck not start til next week cause Neyland is gonna be crazy on Sat. and Tennessee is going to come with everything they've got!

GBO!!!

Thanks DW, I like you. You're welcome on this board anytime as far as I'm concerned.

I think that if I wasnt from Tennessee and didnt love UT so much, I would probably be an Oregon Fan. regardless of how much crap everyone talks of your uniforms, I kinda like'em and I think it helps bring recruits in...

Plus, your type of football is exciting to watch, it can be surprising at times, which is what throws off so many defenses.

Dude, come on; neither New Mexico or Tennessee Martin are world beaters, and wins against them were meaningless. Lets just take the wins for what they were, and get ready for saturday.

Are you REALLY a Gator fan? Any respect I had for you goes down the crapper if you are... sorry.

Saw this on a site, does anyone know his status.....
Tennessee’s wide receiver Denarius Moore injured his ankle in the Volunteers season opener and is questionable for Saturday’s game against No. 7 Oregon.

Some of you don't even bother reading the thread before commenting. This has all been covered. As I said earlier, anyone who argues that Steve Addazio is a superior game planner and play caller to Chip Kelly doesn't watch nor know football. :hi:

I might give you that, Addazio has only been there for a couple of years but no way UO's offense was more effective than UF when they had Dan Mullen.

I know that, and didn't I claim otherwise. That's why I'd ask people to read through the entire thread before commenting.
