After seeing them I'm less impressed with the ducks after seeing how BAD the NM D was. I honestly think that UTM had a better D than NM did. They def stayed in better position than NM did and the safties continually just let the wrs run right by them like they were just on an island by themselves. I don't know whether we're gonna win this game or not, but I'm def more optimistic after seeing how much better NM made them look. Did anyone else get the same impression?

Here's the link to it if you'd like to watch it.

No doubt Oregon is good, but I agree that NM defense was atrocious and constantly out of position.

Dude, come on; neither New Mexico or Tennessee Martin are world beaters, and wins against them were meaningless. Lets just take the wins for what they were, and get ready for saturday.

I agree, but a lot has been made of the Oregon game. People around here are tried of hearing how good Oregon did last week.

I'm not seeing the blowout that everyone is predicting esp at Neyland. I see a high school lookin defense that is not making tackles, playin out of position, and an offense full of turnovers. So vol fans don't count us out just yet. I'm positive that this one is gonna be a good one. I don't have tickets yet, but I'm gonna try to get some on game day and I promise I won't have a voice when I get home!

I think we can get pressure on the qb..the misdirection stuff makes me nervous though..I didn't see thomas or costa keep much, they just carried the fake out well. The last qb that came in kept the ball after the fake quite a bit.

I really don't think that the running game is gonna catch us off guard against these guys...we do play florida ever year. We've def seen SPEED. As long as we play our assignments this game is gonna be a grind.

And if people weren't high on Oregon's game last week, this game wouldn't be receiving much hype. It's a double edged sword, after the game, win or lose, you wont have to hear about it any longer.

Unless we win...then the ducks will hear about it the rest of the season. However, with a loss we still have nxt week to prove that we can play.

The pac-10 fans will not let you forget a loss to an unranked TN team with the issues that we've had this offseason.

It'd take nothing short of that...esp with errogance central USC in the same conference.

They run almost exactly the same offense UF runs only they have smaller players than UF..They are clearly a finesse team...Might have a lot of problems handling a physical team...Hopefully We play the bully and wear them down...If not it could indeed be a long night.

I think the game is going to be a grind, which just so happens to be in our favor. I think we need to frustrate the young QB early and don't turn the ball over.

Actually, their version of the spread isn't similar to Florida's at all. It's actually a lot more creative and effective. :ermm:

I'm sure you won't be the only team to do that this year. You're exactly the type of Oregon fan that I wanted to start this thread for...I really don't get where your errogance comes from. Where exactly is your place in football history?
