Just watched part of the game again

Call me a masochist. I had recorded the game on Saturday and decided to watch part of it again (Tried to watch a show called Cavemen but couldn't watch more than a few minutes). After about ten minutes, I realized how tall some of the Alabama receivers are. Maybe it was because they were surrounded by open space too often, but how tall is Hall? Or Brown or the Stover guy? Standing next to our DBs Stover looked like a monster. Another bad thing was realizing how much more mobile JPW is than I thought he was. Not as good an arm as Ainge, but pretty athletic. That's enough. Ready for the next game for sure now, this one is officially out of my system (and has been deleted from the DVR).

Look at the 7 minute drive they had at the end of the first half and see the number of plays JPW made with his legs on that one drive to get them going. I can count on one hand the number of times Ainge has done anything comparable.

Ainge isn't mobile period. Our team does better with a mobile QB. Because after the bonehead playcalling breaks down the QB can make plays with his legs.

That's always the popular theory, but I can only think of 2 mobile QBs that we've had in the last 20 years that started more than a couple of games.

Yup. Only road loss was at Auburn his senior year. The Vols had no running game that night and they relied heavy on his arm. The Vols made a comeback behind Clausen that fell just short. I think UT lost 28-21 but had the ball in the final minutes of the game driving deep in Auburn territory... before Clausen threw a pick. Casey played a great game other than the pick at the end.

Yeah, I'd take Sterling Henton and Brandon Stewart over Andy Kelly and Peyton Manning. Mobile QBs Rule!!!

...hat...you are correct in college, partialy. Leave your barristry skills at the gate. I know that mobiles have given me more exciting moments, but they WILL NOT win it in the SEC with the exceptions like tebow. He will be the excepction and you ALL need to acknowlege :GREAT FUTURE vs GREAT COLLEGE Tebow will b GREAT due to his god-givin gifts and HOMESCHOOLnIG(tough, self-reliance) in college!!!!....he will either alter his play or become a Matt Jones pro.

When considering pros...Cutler would have been my pick. Benches 400lbs and is local heroe. Can't relate........except for scrambling, the running QB's seem to take a tremendous beating and NEVER end up playing in that superest of goals(the superbowl). That's probably why I hate the pros (minus the class programs)....Indy. Having a pocket passer that CAN run like Cutler and has that 'tude would be making a HUGE diff in Nashville....and he was HOMETOWN and CHEAPER..player personel in the Titans org SUX!!!....same for Cheese.

Hall - 6'3"
Brown - 6'3"
McCoy - 6'3"
Cadell - 6'2"
Stover - 6'2"


Julio Jones is coming in next year at 6'4" also and will likely take over for D.J. Hall.
