Shut up with all the complaining..

We played an awesome game tonight...

Our defense... would have shut down anyone in the country...
Chavis did a great great job... All of our boys on defense came to play and proved it...
Phillip Fulmer called an excellent game tonight as well...
Hell, we ran the g-gun and went for it on fourth...
We were not conservative....

Our offense played a great game too...

there werent many dropped passes... Offense struggled a little bit but blame it on the o-line and ainge....

next year will be great... we are a fairly young team..

i have a feeling we will do excellent next year...

I was proud of my vols tonight!

I bleed orange and though sometimes I hang my head I will never stop bleeding orange!

Go Vols! Hell of a game!

Man, I applaud your enthusiasm, but come on...our offense played a great game? The defense played well but got let off the hook on two made and one missed FG that could have just as easily been 21 points.

I'm with you though...I won't jump off the sinking ship.

Yeah, outside of Ainge throwing passes above, behind and short of our receivers, while throwing strikes to LSU's defense, and the fact that we lost AGAIN, it was a perfect game! Go Vols!

Team left it out on the field and they should have left ainge in atlanta. The cpf thing is more about a body of work since about oh 2001 than anything that transpired tonight.

Our defense... would have shut down anyone in the country... as long as that team was playing its backup QB... and he had multiple injuries... and his best WR was out... and his fastest tailback was also out...

Seriously, the defense played their hearts out to tonight, but don't get carried away.

I tend to always try to see things positively as well. I think TN played great tonight, and as a lifelong Vol fan (no matter what), I am proud of the effort. You just can't win them all. We're not going to play for the national title every year, probably not every OTHER year either. If we win the bowl game I will be especially proud of this team.

Defense played great, but I still think Florida would light us up again. I can't criticize the defense, though. They played plenty well enough for us to win the game.

Why didn't we use Chris Brown more....I haven't understand that all season long, the guy is a freaking beast and we never give him a shot....Damn shame that Cutty doesn't utilize him more, if it were me on short yardage situation's I would have lined him up at FB to....Chris Brown is a good ball player that Cut let down...

Defense played fairly well.

Offense I thought pretty much sucked. The defense consistently, I would say at least 6 time got the ball back by their 4th downs or by turnover and the offense scored ZIP! Dropped passes. Ainge horrific throws. Lack of running game.

When you say offense played pretty well, well, I am not sure you and I watched the same game. Take that first drive out of the equation and the offense was brutal.

This UT team really isn't very young. We just have a lot of young guys playing because the older guys were so outstandingly bad.

how long was it between the first national chmapionship and the 1998 NC....

Be patient... We can't get it every year...

and we have had 4 months of great football every year...
we play it the best conference in the country!

to be able to go out and compete week in and week out is amazing!

I salute My Vols! these kids take it harder than you fans do.. think about that..

Go Vols!

by the way...

is UCLA in knoxville or cali?

LSU is a very talented team, but I think Periloux played about as well as Flynn would have played. Chief got the defense ready. We really were physical. We need to take that same effort and attitude to every game not just 3 or 4 times a year. Put a hurtin' on the offense of the other team. It really has an impact on what they try offensively when they know they are going to get blasted. Except for Heffney, our tackling has been much better since the Alabama game.

I'm guessing you just got your latest shipment of KoolAid from IE95.

UT was playing a wounded foe. They should have won by 20.

They lost by 7.

Maybe we were watching different games.

No... we were watching the same game...

LSU was not that banged up... they lost flynn and dorsey...
Their dline stopped our offense and we still got around it...

and perilloux played as well as flynn would have...

and we were beat up too...

vinson was playing with a dislocated shoulder!

We played amazing...

and even with their starters the outcome would have been the same...

by the way...

Hester who?????

Go Vols!

Go Vols!

Vinson has had the shoulder injury before he even came to Knoxville. Hester was the leading rusher in the game and averaged 5.2 a carry. With Matt Flynn, the LSU offense definitely would have scored more TDs.

Hester who? Hester rushed for more yards than McFadden did on us. Hester made Vinson look like a Pop Warner player when he ran him over. Hester ran for 5, 6, 7 yards a pop all freaking night. That's who.
