Just thinking out loud here....

Petrino left Atlanta in the middle of the night if you will and totally screwed up Arkansas. Why would anyone want him here? If we hadn't already had Kiffin it wouldn't bother me much. But are you guys really willing to let someone leave us hanging out to dry again in HOPES of winning some football games? What has he done really take a big east team to a BCS bowl game once. I'm not going for one of Petrino's shams!

I guess we've learned nothing from "The Lame Train"?:loco:

Sexton was busy making phone calls to try and secure Dooley a staff spot for 2013. He knows his fate is sealed. He has to win one of the next 2 to have a chance to meet the pre-season guidelines laid out to him. Not very likely this will happen.

So what is bolded was said by SBV or is this your guestimation?

This is what i'm thinking! Sounds risky.

Anytime you make a coaching change there is risk. Petrino would not be my 1st call as Peterson, Patterson, and of course Gruden would be. I like the coach at Wisconsin alot as I am a fan of the run game he has. With where we are today with Dooley IMO, any risk is worth the chance to be competitive again. "Stay the course" is something people chant when they have accepted losing is alright.

are some of you high or drunk. petrino shouldnt even be a thought. he did great at louisville, yes;sucked at atlanta then bailed on them, fell apart at arkansas then went w###emonging.really a class choice for our "respectible program".rather have fulmer back.lost his edge, but had class and he IS ALL VOLUNTEER TO THE BONE. quit hiring these guys who want to springboard themselves off tennessee's money to leave, hire a coach with heart and fire for the program.maybe cdd aint it but it damn sure aint petrino.how many teams has he been with in the last 8-10 yrs?is that what we want?quit smoking that stuff and come up with some better material.rather have what we got and have Hart come off the hip for a real DC not an asst playing DC,then we would win games.dooley doesnt coach defense,he just hired sal. time to let sal go instead, try another DC,we are scoring points,we just cant stop a little league team.we do have some good defensive players, regardless what all are whining about.petrino?a joke:wacko:

you wouldnt. it is beyond your common comprehension.we need a "defensive coordinator" or lets see what he does when he has had more than a year. why fire the HCwhen the offense is lighting up the score board but the defense cant stop a 10 year old? LEB VOLyou dont know where to go with it so why fire him and not the weak link. thats the deal, all offense, which DD has helped put together and NO defense which he has tried to help put the right guy there. both DC'S he has had have done good when they were elsewhere, wilcox did fine in a weaker conference, sal, well he was just a linebackers coach.NOT A DC. defense wins championships and games. thats where you go with that "mess" if you needed the help figuring out what i was saying.not being a pain in the rear here but i am not sure why you posted what you did.i saw no mess? anyone who wants petrino at tn has gotta be on a bandwagon for wins and not for the program winning long term. petrino would be ok for wins, but he wouldnt stay and probably make the program look bad just by hiring him since he has had a few off the field troubles as of lately.

I would take Jimmy any day after seeing the attitude he had at the U

much better than petrino, super bowl winner and national title winner. but he has been out of it for a while. but that hair and orange together... priceless. just the hair would be intimidating. lol. we could use a defense as stiff as his hair spray is.:)
