I recorded the all-star game that JC played in and was watching it this am. I was wondering if you took the all-star team(Texas vs Nation) and played it against Alabama, Florida or Texas, who do you guys think would win? I know there would be more talent on the all-star team but the University team would have the advantage of playing together longer.

:lolabove: At least if you do use "Thanks" you can later "Remove Thanks." I agree "No Thanks!" should be an option.

There should be a BOO button, people get on here and just spew crap all the time.

I hope Crompton does get drafted and the higher the better for him. He took a lot of crap and played hard every game. I don't get Vol fans coming on here and degrading the players, especially the ones that gave it all for UT.

Russ Lande has been pushing Crompton for a while, already had a couple articles before the game saying the same thing - hope other evaluators share his enthusiasm. Go Crompton!

Personally, I think Crompton has better QB tools than Tebow, he'll just have to work really hard to get a job. Because right now, he'll be put in the same situation Erik Ainge is, on the bench.

As much as I'd love to see it, it's not going to happen, unless Tebow tells the world he's foregoing the NFL to circumsize kids in Asia. From what I understand, Tebow's supposed to go in the 2nd through 4th rounds, and Crompton would be a 5th rounder at best. Of course, there's a long time between now and draft day, and we all know that Crompton looks like some combination of Elway, Brady, Manning, Montana, and Favre when he doesn't have any big uglies chasing him around.

Saw a clip from the game he played in and he threw a mighty pretty pass for a TD. He said in his interview he wanted to go to the Panthers.

I don't know if JC is going to make it in the NFL or not, but I hope he does. After all that he went through here, I would love to see him make good in the League. Best of luck, JC! You will always be a Vol!

I hadn't seen the mock draft with TT going in the 2nd... That would be a huge reach, imo. I think Crompton is a much better pro-style QB. While TT will probably get drafted first, he won't stay on a roster as long as Cromp, I'll bet. Tebow will be drafted by a Florida team to boost ticket sales, but the only reason he's so popular now is because he wins almost every game. I'm sure his fans will fade once he doesn't replicate his NCAA success in the pros.

Ainge is likely to be like Bobby Scott was back in the 70's. Scott was a career backup qb for Archie Manning and Ainge is likely to be the same, but at a much higher salary.
