In games we have been successful, we have run more than passed. It seems that Cutcliffe wants to throw 75% of the time but we are more successful running. Especially the fact that it gives our defense more time to rest. I want to say Foster and Hardesty getting more touches, they are physical backs that can ware a defense down. In our most successful games they got quality carries and wore the defenses down. I wish we would quit running 20 screens a game that dont work and run the rock more.

That's a little bit far there. I agree in UT's "hay day" we were up the middle and a cloud of dust every Saturday. But we also had, Jamal Lewis, Traivs Henry/Stephens, Cobb, Webb etc etc...I just dont think we have that type of physical rb this year....Creer may be the guy next year or the year after but, Foster is a finess runner and Hardesy is injury prone...I would give anything to see us come out and establish the run early tomm...It would really open up the passing game, because I am sure they will be playing man...

I would like to say that if the Hogs line up where we can run the ball 75% of the time we will. Problem is everybody knows if we can run we can win. Get the picture!

I understand that if they put 8 in the box then we need to pass. The only thing is many teams give us the opportunity to run but we dont take it. (Bama for example) I just think the play calling is horrendous, but again Im not tellen you guys anything new.

I think Creer will be a good back in the future, but he just hasnt developed into a SEC back yet. He still has to learn the system like (Rasputin) said and he also has to get bigger. He still looks like a high school running back.

Isn't it better if we do/can run in this game? I think we need to try and keep our offense on the field as much as possible, and use up as much of the clock as we can. In other words, keep their offense off of the field.:eek:k:
