I dont know... after hearing a rap song on youtube about the "robber Vols" i think weezy will definately want to come. that song is great haha YouTube - Robber Vols
So if Tim "The TOOL MAN" Allen was comming to our school would that be better??? for the recurits???
If you watched the Ustream video, you would know that even Kiffin gave him a shoutout on Twitter for mentioning him in his song, Wayne was too blazed and egotistical enough to pay attention and realize what was said. Instead, he tells "Lil' Lane" that he doesn't want an apology for not saying thank you for using him in his song. That's pretty egotistical to me, but hey, I'm just some dumb redneck who thinks rap music kills people. I also think that guns kills people and not those who pull the trigger. (Those last two sentences were pure sarcasm.)
Oh, well if he's a felon AND he's egotistical, he's not welcome in our stadium, which is situated on a VERY high horse!
/endsarcasm
But he is still a fellon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What differance does it make WHEN it happened??? Wayne is no different..Wayne wasn't around when Tim was on the STUFF lol...So don't try and blame Wayne for all the crap of today...Using a 90's TV show character in this discussion isn't very bright. Tim Allen is a recovered coke addict. I'm sure that back in his snow days, he wouldn't exactly be the most positive influence either. He made it through, and I hope Wayne does too. It's just too soon for him to be showing up touting UT with the rap sheet he possesses right now.

In October 1978, Timothy Allen Dick was arrested with over 650 grams of cocaine (about 1.4 pounds) in an undercover drug bust at the Kalamazoo airport. Later, when Timothy Dick became Tim Allen, he would say the bust "probably saved my life." But at the time of arrest, his future was far from bright. Just a month before, Michigan lawmakers passed one of the harshest drug laws in the country, the "650-lifer law." A conviction for delivering more than 650 grams of cocaine or heroin meant that Timothy Allen Dick would spend the rest of his life in prison. No breaks, no parole, no kidding.
May be this will help Wayne also..Don't be so quick to try and PIN drugs on Wayne..It was long before Wayne was born...Anyways WHO do you think FLIES this stuff in our country or Ships it in...Our Govt will hunt down Terroist but can't stop drugs!!!!!!!!!! COME one use some brains...
Have you missed what I have said?? In fact I think most have missed what I am saying. I don't care if he shows up, but right now isn't exactly the best time. The whole incident needs to time to die down, instead of being brought back up by some media hack or national media hack and keeping it going. If it was 6 months from now and he wanted to show up, I'm good with that. Just not right now.

I love it when people argue with you on something that your not even arguing about. Trying to equate Tim Allen's situation to Lil' Wayne's, is like trying to relate Martha Stewart to Eminem. Also, did I ever say I'm blaming Lil' Wayne for everything that's going on in the world today?? Nope. Once again, twisting words to hear what you want to. Also, if you don't think Wayne is involved in drugs, then I got some beachfront property in Brentwood to sell you. Didn't you see his blunt go out in that UStream video??
If you don't allow people who smoke weed into Neyland, then there really wouldn't be more than 50,000.
In that case, Wayne’s bus was reportedly holding 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy, drug paraphernalia and a handgun.
Over 80% of our fans probably would think he would be just someone attending a game. My concern is the public outcry for disciplining the 3 players when the attempted robbery happened, yet the same ones are willing to welcome a convicted felon. That's irony right there.
yourself included.
i can't believe this thread got as far as it has.
No, I get what they are saying. Basically, he has no ties to the university and it shouldn't be frowned upon that he wants to attend a game. It's also positive for recruiting because, not only the recruits, but the parents listen to Lil' Wayne too and it's a good thing. He also didn't hold up those stoners and try to steal their cheeseburgers. Do I have it straight??
