Using a 90's TV show character in this discussion isn't very bright. Tim Allen is a recovered coke addict. I'm sure that back in his snow days, he wouldn't exactly be the most positive influence either. He made it through, and I hope Wayne does too. It's just too soon for him to be showing up touting UT with the rap sheet he possesses right now.

Have you missed what I have said?? In fact I think most have missed what I am saying. I don't care if he shows up, but right now isn't exactly the best time. The whole incident needs to time to die down, instead of being brought back up by some media hack or national media hack and keeping it going. If it was 6 months from now and he wanted to show up, I'm good with that. Just not right now.

But he is still a fellon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What differance does it make WHEN it happened??? Wayne is no different..Wayne wasn't around when Tim was on the STUFF lol...So don't try and blame Wayne for all the crap of today...

What, is it No Felon Fall around the UT campus or something? I don't care about your timing, it's wanting to keep someone out of our stadium for silly reasons that bothers me.

He has nothing to do with the incident. Edwards and Nuke shouldn't keep anyone else from enjoying our football games. If that happenes, then the crime beat us.

He recently put our coach in one of his songs. If anything, it's a positive morale boost we could use right now after losing 2 of our players and getting stomped at Oxford.

I love it when people argue with you on something that your not even arguing about. Trying to equate Tim Allen's situation to Lil' Wayne's, is like trying to relate Martha Stewart to Eminem. Also, did I ever say I'm blaming Lil' Wayne for everything that's going on in the world today?? Nope. Once again, twisting words to hear what you want to. Also, if you don't think Wayne is involved in drugs, then I got some beachfront property in Brentwood to sell you. Didn't you see his blunt go out in that UStream video??

That whole comment had to do with someone saying that Wayne isn't involved in drugs, yet is smoking a blunt on his video talking about many things, including UT. That's not a hard connection to make. Here's a snippet of what they found on his tour bus in Arizona...

In that case, Wayne’s bus was reportedly holding 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy, drug paraphernalia and a handgun.

You should know that CLK does not care what they think, and I sure as hell as I am sure 97 percent of volnation do not care what the media thinks about! I also do not think recruits or their parents think because Lil Wayne is a fan and attended a game, that we are full of "thugs". I understand he has a gun possession charge, but if I made millions of dollars I would have to carry as well! He was not out pointing it in peoples faces

No, I get what they are saying. Basically, he has no ties to the university and it shouldn't be frowned upon that he wants to attend a game. It's also positive for recruiting because, not only the recruits, but the parents listen to Lil' Wayne too and it's a good thing. He also didn't hold up those stoners and try to steal their cheeseburgers. Do I have it straight??
