Lil' Wayne would be sick.. I've said this before but they need to play championship bottles when the team comes out :)

I don't see the problem with this.. Just because two(3) no two punks could only enterain themselves by attempting to rob some hillbillies.. Why do we automatically have a bad image.. That was thier decision, it involved noone else at the university..

what's the big damn deal with this? he mentions kiffin in a line on one of his tracks, and is now (maybe, possibly, who the hell knows?) coming to a game. he also had a verse in weezer's "can't stop partying". so fans of that band shouldn't stand for that, either? what a ridiculous post. if i went to the game and saw him, i'd def try to get a pic with him. of course, i'd need about 5 brauds with me to get close enough...

all i gather from this is that OP has an issue with rap music and what "those guys" stand for. you know what, i don't like country music, but i don't get bent out of shape when those artists come to a game or perform there. let it go

We have enough red-necks to balance it out. I for one would feel more comfortable if Lee Greenwood would bust out God Bless the USA at half.

Maybe the Trojans have the hook up to some kind b from B.C. this year and that is why the defense looks like it sucks.

With corruption and problems I have always wondered why rival boosters or gambling interests do not just give free pot to football and basketball players. It is easiest to impact basketball I would guess based on watching centers who had a weight problem several coaches ago eat a large pizza at 2 am.

This stuff is starting to sound like the 2 live crew stuff at Miami back in the 80's and early 90's....If lil Wayne wants to come to a UT game that is his right, however I would prefer he didn't have any contact or associate what so ever with the team.

Who cares if he's at the game? That doesn't mean he's a part of the program. I'd imagine lots of folks currently in prison have sports teams that they support. That doesn't make the teams guilty of anything, and anyone who sees it like that is just a moron.
You can make your case once CLK starts having Lil Wayne perform for the team at practice.

Do we really need to talk about all of the people that we have had play music at Neyland Stadium??? I mean come on... Our freaking song that we play 100x a game proudly talks about making illegal moonshine. I know I was at a game about 4 or so years ago in which Charlie Daniels played at halftime, but I didn't hear anyone complain about he used to talk about smoking weed, fighting, getting drunk... not to mention his racist rants about "towel heads" just a few years earlier...

You can't go calling out entertainers or anyone for that matter that comes to Neyland unless you are ready to do that for everyone and I don't think alot of people want to go down that road.

If Lil' Wayne comes to a game then good for him. I hope to see him, b/c he is a good entertainer... for that reason and that reason only... B/c the man puts on a good show.

The stupidity here is astounding at times. Lil' Wayne is a dimestore gangsta much like almost all in the rap music biz. He's sold millions and millions of records to kids of all races, yet those making those purchases don't suddenly develop blank stares and go off, join gangs, and commit crimes. If anyone actually took the time to listen to Lil' Waynes music, most of it is about getting laid, not running the streets in gangsta mode. We see this sort of positioning from time to time mostly from old foggies about modern music trends. It wasn't so long ago various rock groups were supposedly responsible for kids whacking themselves and to the point Michael Jackson was supposedly trying to get kids to worship the devil. Again, these goofy accusations regarding music to my mind cannot be coming from people acqqainted with an education which required critical thinking skills as part of the curriculum. This has to be coming from people with a herd mentality mimicing what somebody has told them.

Stop right there... Some places in East Knoxville is worse than ANY hood in Miami with the exception being liberty city...I've lived here 20 years and never one problem, I had my house robbed twice when I lived in knoxville...Besides there is a huge difference, Here in Miami there MANY different styles of music...Many different cultures...Comparing the two is ridiculous.

yes but you wasn't raised in the hood where that style music is a reality...its entertainment to you but a lifestyle to some of those inner city kids that have never been shown the right way of handling their business. its sad but true. all this was just bad timing. i don't think they robbed those guys after listening to lil wayne...it was just bad bad timing.
