I set 15:00 quarters, playing in the Swamp at night and tried to run a "Tennessee Game Plan" as much as possible.

Tennessee won 59-56 in 2OT

Leak was 36-74 561 yds and 5 TDs 4 INT's
Ainge was 22-42 462 yds and 3 TDs 3 INT's
Clausen was 5-13 104 yds and 0 TD's 1 INT

Florida's back rushed 10 times for 51 yards
Riggs was 62 carries 263 yards 4 TD's

Florida's #5 WR had 10 receptions for 206 yards and 2 TD's
Florida's #8 had 4 receptions for 137 yards and a TD
Swain had 6 receptions 157 yards
Riggs had 7 receptions for 114 yards
*5 UT receivers had 80 yards or more

Leak was sacked 9 times
TN QB's were sacked 8 times

TN led TOP 42:34 to 17:26

Setting 15 minute quarters is unrealistic... The game moves much faster than games in real life. I'd say maybe 7 or 8 minute quarters are representative of real life football.

If the game moves faster than real life, (which it does) you would want longer quarters in the game, to try and even up the difference.

I played the FL game the other night. For fun, I tuned it down to rookie and jacked all my offesive sliders to 99.

Final was 126 to 14. They scored their first 2 possesion and never again. 1100+ total offesenive yards. 700+ yards passing from Ainge. 300+ yards for Riggs. Got them both in the top 4 of the Heisman watch.

Sometimes, I just love turning it down and just putting on an offesive show. Onside every time so when they punt, you get it around the 20 and get 80+ offensive yards each drive. Add a couple returned INTs and a punt return (usually I just move away and let them down it as deep inside as they can). Amazingly, my reciever each had 2 TDs each for 4 or 5 guys and 1 TD for a couple more guys.

How do you let anybody score against you when you're playing on Rookie? I mean, if you were playing as like a D-IAA team vs. USC maybe, but other than that... How?

BTW I've done that and won games like 140-0 it's pretty fun.

Going for the pick with the only guy near the receiver. I missed twice and both were waltzed in because my guy was eating grass.

I play on 5 min quarters....I played florida on heisman and was up 17-0 in the 1st and by the end of the game they were up 49-30 with about 2 mins left... I played the game in the Swamp and Chad Jackson went off on my secondary in the 2nd half

I don't know why everyone changes the length of the quarters. I play 5 minute quarters and turn it up to Heisman and all of my games are realistic.

Foster had 33 carries for 389 yds 6 tds

Ainge was 5-9 180 yds 2 tds

I usually play either 4 or 5 minute quarters. The game (and my play calling) is way too fast for anything above that for it to be realistic as far as the numbers go.

My playcalling is kind of slow... I've switched my game up a little to try and run a Bill Parcells-style off kilter offense. Set a pattern to try and put the defense in a groove then switch it.

video games are never acurate considering i play on all american and i am 3-0 (i play the same schedule) and i have won each game by an average of 64-20. (i beat uab 83-10). it is completely different as in real like leak should have a good game but in the game he passed for around 150 yards.

You have lesser amounts of yards in the game for some reason. Most games I have seen with five minute quarters, 250 yards of offense can win the game. It's just how it works.

It seems kinda back and forth on All American...some games are super close against easy opponents, others are blowouts.

Memphis had a HORRIBLE secondary. I only rushed 3 times, and threw the rest, beat them 112-35 (i started running up the score a bit, hehe)

Ainge had a great game, so did Meachem.

I'm sure that Florida will be a nailbiter, though. Last season, I beat Georgia 31-30, and on the last play of the game, they threw a bomb, their WR caught it, and my FS came out of the endzone and slammed him Out of Bounds on the ONE. I thought I was going to have a heart attack!

I almost was the other day...I was playing LSU in the Sec champ on the 05 season...I threw the ball 2 times the entire game. Once was an interception...the other was a tip, then a catch, then a fumble, and he ran it back on me 85 yards. I got up, flipped my chair over, stomped off..

I can't handle crap like that! That, and when your players do stupid stuff, like stop running with his man in coverage...

Well, if your D-backs are playing zone, they tend not to leave unless their side of the field is empty and nothing is coming their way.

For some reason, they'll stop covering when the ball is almost at the receiver...its really wierd. Most of the time , they can catch back up...but sometimes they really let them have the big play.

What's hurting me now is the loss of almost my entire D-line...I can't get pressure like I could in my 05 season.

You've GOT to have a good pass rush. In my 3rd season Rico McCoy became a BEAST of a linebacker and got the "Impact Player" Label... the entire season I was able to send him in and either cause a bad pass, get a sack, or tackle the RB in the backfield... I'm about to play the '07 NC against Michigan... I gave up an average of 10 rushing yards a game.
