Just ordered my tickets and got a hotel for Vandy

Can we stop with the checker Vandy thing? That's one of those things that either has to be very coordinated to look right or not done at all..

What I would LOVE to see is if all Vols got the memo to wear Black to the game (with orange underneath)..

You walk into the stadium and see a sea of black, and then as soon as the teams run out of the tunnel and see all the black, everyone takes off their top layer and there's just orange everywhere.

Imagine that.

I am a student and I actually may try to create a website about this. Awesome idea! Take them off as we run out!

Don't forget that other UT fans will be going for those tickets, which drives the ticket price up. This is probably the most expensive ticket of the year for Vandy. UT fans going to the game, please checker their stadium in Orange and white.:dance2:

One of my father in laws friends gave us a couple tickets in section J. Hopefully we will be staying on his houseboat too. This will be my first UT game ever so I'm pumped for the experience, even though it's not at Neyland. I kind of like the wearing black idea also.

Are there any places to park close to the stadium? This is actually the first time I'll be going to a game at Vanderbilt Stadium and I just got my tickets as well and I don't know if I should buy a parking pass or not... Any advice would be appreciated.

The garage on campus at 25th and Highland is right there and they only charged $5 or $10 the last time I went a few years ago. We tailgated without problem from the Vandy Cops on the grass next to the garage.

I bought mine through UT. All they had was very high up in section A though. The stadium is about the size of many FCS schools so its not that high up but still if you are wanting something closer to the 50 or a little lower down you are stuck with the secondary market at this point.

I haven't posted on here in a while but I ordered my tickets a few days back and got 4 in section N. Last time I went there was two years ago and sat in section M in the middle of Vandy fans and it was painful to walk out of that stadium with them heckling me. Hopefully this time I sit around a bunch of orange and we get that 6th or 7th win!
