Doesn't it seem to you all that our D staff is much more impressive the O? I realize that we have more positions yet to fill, particularly on offense, but we'd really need to pull in some big fish on the offensive side of the ball to catch up. Thoughts?

Our offense will be fine. We are almost there and it seems as if Gran could hired as RBs coach any day now.

Hope to see several shut outs this year. Could live with a bunch of 3-0 games.

we had a good D this year and didnt win many games much less championships

If our offense wasn't record setting last year, (bad records of course) we would have won at least one or two more games. With CLK Chaney and Cregg, they alone would have better success than the last staff. JMO

kiffin's our offense... Chaney has an impressive record as well, hes a solid coach. Kiffin doesnt even have to worry about the defensive side of the ball now, he can focus it all on the offense.

Chaney and CLK could be our big time offensive coaches.

I think CLK is confident about his offensive ability

If "Gran" is the man Drayton may not be able to hold on until signing day...

RB's, Wr's and either a TE, OL or DB coach will fill out the staff. If Chaney also does Ol, then Cregg handles TE's, which leaves WR, RB, and DB to go.....Who's the best recruiting DB coach and no doubt CLK is on the phone with him.

I'd say that Cregg has OL and Chaney will have TE's. Just by the way that the staff is taking shape, and plus considering Chaney had TE's with the Rams.

I have a feeling We are in for a huge surprise shortly on the Offensive side of the ball.

I have a feeling CLKs early successes have all but blinded folks from reality, if everything stopped now................would you not be happy with the guy ? You people would scare J. Christ away with your expectations ! Geez if I were a recruit/coach I wouldnt come within a 100 miles of you guys. Look at the other boards, no matter the athlete/coach its 90% praise. Here we tear'em down while their Jrs. Be HAPPY with whats been attained in 45 days. Its "Monte-mental" :)

I agree but I think people are underestimating the hire of Chaney.

I think so too, and shouldn't Chaney be picking some of his staff for the O side of the ball. CLK wants recruiters/position coaches. Which is great. But only so many will jump ship to come. Even at the price we seem to be willing to pay.

I think Lane will run the offense with Chaney and the others assisting him. He will leave the defense to these other outstanding coaches. I believe Lane feels like that HE is the offensive mastermind.
