I don’t know how Pruitt recovers if we lose to Arkansas.

Get Ready! Arkansas is trending UP; has all the Momentum. Ut will be lucky to win 2 more. A&M? no. UF? Hell No. Au? Nah. That leaves Arkie & Vandy. If the team has quit----hmmmm O fer? Just seeing it for what it is.

If we lose to AR & Vandy, i will lose whats left of my sanity!

I have sat thru good and bad times for 30+ years of going to games, but its getting ridiculous now. I was shocked when the team quit during the KY game years ago, but now it seems common. I never believed i would see that happen at UT.

This was on Google today on fanrunradio.com: "Vols are only delaying the inevitable by keeping Jeremy Pruitt.
Vols have a culture problem: looks like the team just quit. Rumors of fights in the locker room. Random firing of a line coach
First time JP has been a head coach and he is undeniably over his head.
Elite defensive coordinator but has not carried over to the offense Lack of offensive development is exactly not his fit.
Trotting out JG simply because he "practices" the best. QB most important position on field but JP has not figured this out.
Old school mindset includes neglecting the offense will not cut it in today's game anymore.
Can't fire JP because of the ridiculous extension he received. PF is a former coach and is going to side with his hire.
Just keep in mind, everyday that goes by is just delaying the inevitable.
We have an awesome recruiting class coming in, so yeah let's just fire Pruitt and start over -- again

Fulmer must go also. This is the same exact reason Peyton will not come and coach. He loves UT and Ut loves him but just as soon as something goes wrong everyone would turn on him and he does not want that and just rather not coach and come and go as he pleases and not worry about the fan base turning on him. Phil is in over his head for sure as an AD. He is a legend in Knoxville And will for ever be one of the greatest coaches of his time. But it is obvious it’s not only Pruitt that is in over his head. Who gives a coach an extension and raise in a season where he’s not going any place due to Covid season. And yet Phill still does and allows Pruitt to shell out millions for assistants with no experience. The DL line coach had no business making $800K plus and Ansley have no business making $1million as a DC when he don’t even call the plays. Pruitt calls the plays on defense and he just holds the title. Chaney making what he does and our offense looking like it does is just criminal.

Legion of the miserable.

I'm over it. It's been close to 20 years of this crap. Just let it play out, if we are coach searching again, so be it. If not, great. It is what it is.

When it said Google it lost ALL credibility. I'm amazed at what we give credence to in the "media" which we've proven over and over only exist but to make money and pit one group against another. I could sit down and write all kinds of things with unnamed sources. I was discussing with a friend yesterday even the Food Network tries to create conflict on competition cooking shows...utterly embarrassing....This is so tiring!

We hear this with every single coach. Team quits on Dooley, team quits on Butch, team quits on Pruitt...
It’s a pattern. I don’t approve of the job any of the above three did (In Pruitt’s case currently), but if these players quit that easy maybe it’s their own fault lol

I understand being frustrated, but to this point, we have only lost one game that we expected to win this season. The talk of firing Pruitt is premature to say the least. Also, the story cites "rumors" of locker room fights but then doesn't provide any specifics at all or even a source for these alleged rumors? And that is supposed to be a basis for firing the head coach? That is ridiculous.

I keep bringing up Wisconsin. They have never beat us in recruiting but would kill us 9 out of 10 times on the field. Granted Wisconsin would be a middle of the road SEC team probably...but their backup QB is 100 x better than our starter. Why is this? They are doing it right. Their 26th ranked class this past year was their best in over a decade...and yet at the end of the year they are always on the fringe of being one of the final four bcs teams. Its coaching when you have more talent all over and yet Wisconsin would murder us. Pruitt is nowhere near the answer.

JG will leave Tennessee having never beat Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. He has only beat Missouri, S.C., Vandy, and KY, half the time. He has some really bad losses like GA. ST. and BYU mixed in. Most losses are blowouts by 30 plus points. How exactly does he give us the best chance to win? I keep hearing Pruitt say this.

I have a feeling we're going to walk into a buzz saw vs Arky. I don't like the matchup....between coaching staffs. 3-7 looms large.

Everyone may have laughed at the Sam Pittman hire, but he's got a very undermanned Arkansas team punching way above its weight class. They're a blown call away from being 3-1, and they're playing their guts out. Pruitt better have his squad ready to play; losing that game could easily be the beginning of the end for him.

The guys at Fox Sports Knoxville have lost all credibility with me. On the most recent Voluntary Reaction, Russ was literally making things up on the spot and trying to pass them off as absolute fact. It was sickening to listen to.

When you live in middle Georgia your options of hearing UT news is very slim unless the dawgs beat us in something. JP is getting ripped by all lot of people that follow UT football. Most news I see is coming out of Knoxville by writers that cover the Vols. Just saying.

Those guys are the worst negavols I've ever seen. They just spew hate and contempt for UT. Hard to believe they are in Knoxville and not Athens, Gainesville, or Tuscaloosa. They make me sick (esp. Adams) with some of their crap.

Not saying it is so, but it is possible JG is our best option at QB right now. HB might be ready in a few weeks, but might not be ready now. It seems CJP is trying to bring HB up to speed before feeding him to the wolves. It would also be nice if our over-hyped OL would show they could protect the QB before we throw an inexperienced QB into the fire. I seriously doubt another QB would have resulted in better outcomes in the Bama and UGA games. UK, probably.
