When it first happened I heard "slight sprain, no big deal, will be back soon blah blah blah." However that was like 2 weeks ago, yet I'm still hearing that he's wearing a no contact jersey and is still "hampered" with this injury. Is it more serious that they are letting on?

Given the current circumstances. I'd say they are just being extra careful.

Or they may be keeping him no contact as a precautionary measure.

Possibly but for a guy with no SEC experience stepping into the starting role, you'd think they would want him to get somewhat used to taking the hits. They sure won't ease up on him in the game.

I freaked out that something serious had happened to his shoulder when I read this thread title. BIG sigh of relief. I throw my vote in the precautionary hat.

Man up or ride the pine

This hamstring thing could hamper croom all year. Just when you think your better, you feel that sharp pain again or start to feel it cramp and have to slow down. I've had a hamstring issue that last 6 months. Now, I didn't have access to the treatment like UT and was a lot older when it happened. It can be a nagging injury for a receiver though who spends most of their time sprinting/running.

I agree with thin blue.. A hammy will also feel good one day and flare back up down the road. He should let it heal completely.

NCSU and Georgia State will ease him into taking hits :p

Arian Foster last year or Kenny Britt the year before. Those things can be trouble.
