Easily a top 10 program. They just lost to a top 5 program on on the road.
They have what many consider to be the best running back in the country, an offensive line mentioned as one of the best in the country, and they only handed off to Love 5 times in the first half? Compare his14 total touches to Dylan's average of 18 per game (including OSU game where he only had 3). On top of that, their QB was a RSF starting his first game.

That's CDD stupidity...which to me, excludes them from being "easily a top 10 program."

I watched some guys break down film and you are correct… this is why I really am grateful for CJH… he is not complacent and continues to grow and adapt… he mixed in more traditional pro style formations and concepts than he has in the past and JA was very smooth going through progressions on both sides of the field..
Joey has the hardware upstairs to do special things. If he can be consistent , we'll be scary on offense.

Not quite top 10 but they looked much better on offense than I expected and while the defense struggled in the second half, they rotated a ton of guys I believe. I think they're a very good, just outside the top ten group this year, still young and plagued by injury.

I know that screen call was perfectly timed

Probably really won't know til week 3.. UGA will try and bully them on the LOS like always. Got to stalemate them up there this time and they may a chance..

Why is it concerning?
DLine injuries are concerning. Better get Moi and Hobbs back by Georgia or there will be issues. IF healthy, I’m not concerned about performance. At one point Saturday, we were down 3 of our best 4 DT’s. The others had to play a bunch of snaps and got gassed. Also had a couple of DE’s playing tackle at times. That won’t be a good recipe against Georgia.

It’s funny because there is an angle screen on the college football video game that I run a lot and it worked to perfection just like CFB… Heup and Halzle been on the game revamping that playbook lol… all jokes aside I loved the playcalling on Saturday and Joey was very smooth and poised..

Whipping an ACC team is nothing to get overly excited about. We had the talent edge and held it.

I am excited that the offense came out and drove down the field at will on the 1st 6 or 7 drives of the game. This looked more like the offense we are used to under Huepel.

I am concerned about the pass rush on 3rd and long. They have up a 3rd or 4th and long on every drive where SU scored. This will kill us against a team like UGA.

I am concerned with out depth in the secondary for the UGA game with Gibson and McCoy both out. The backups are now starting but they can't play every snap and what if one of them is injured? Boo Back??

You have personal issues with the Notre Dame coach. Got it.

Tok early but our schedule is soft enough that 10 or more wins is not out of the realm of possibilities with this team, especially if Alabama ends up being as down as people are starting to think.
Nothing could be more dangerous than a loaded team that came to play lazy and succeeded in getting embarassed.

1. Are they as good as they were supposed to be on paper
2. How will Deboer handle them this week in practice
3. How seriously will the players take their lackluster effort in this game toward the rest of their schedule.
4. Is Ty that bad and still their best option.
