Just heard that...(rumor proven unfounded)

As much as it pains me I'm with LG on this one. While him being release on no bail is a good sign, there are still too many unknowns for him to play tomorrow. I personally wish he sits the rest of the season out for his recent rash decisions.

No one said he's going to play.

He is where he needs to be if he's on that bus.

If he goes with them to OM, it's less likely he'll get in trouble again, so I think it's a good idea.

I doubt he plays.

If you are really that worried that Jackson is going to go out and get into more trouble this weekend if he is left in Knoxville, doesn't that tell you all you need to know about whether this kid should stay on the team?

That's my point. Until Kiffin knows all the facts the guy shouldn't be going anywhere with the team. It may turn out he did nothing wrong, but for now, given the seriousness of the crime alleged, I just think its a mistake to do this. But its not a big deal, I suppose. Maybe "huge mistake" was an overstatement. Still, its a mistake, IMO.

How do you know that Kiffin doesn't already know all the facts? You don't.

Traveling with the team does not equate to playing. I see nothing wrong with traveling with the team pending resolution of the matter.

Until you know the entire facts.. Refrain from posting.

But lg doesn't make comments regarding players until he's gathered all the evidence.

Oh wait, that's only for UF players that feel the need to try and sink their fingers into an eye socket on national television.

So he should just alienate the kid and leave him behind?

At least on the bus he's with supervision. No one has said he will suit up and play.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say Kiffin & Co. know more about the situation than lg1 or anyone else here and have their reasons for bringing Jackson along with them, if that's even what they're doing.

Has no one seriously considered that the coaches want him on a short leash so he can't get himself into trouble again???

Even if he did play do you think he'd be a 100% mentally in the game? I don't. I believe he'd be more of a distraction if anything. Guilty or not.

I heard that he's on board but chained to the emergency door with the chain that EB used during the Wild Boys photo shoot and the key is taped to CEO's Red Bull and dares anybody to put their hands on that!:)

Because he is travleing does not mean he is going to play. The safest place for him to be right now is with the team, especially if CLK plans on keeping him.

If he's with the team, wouldn't that mean that guy making decisions knows the facts about what JJ had to do with it?

Local radio guys were chatting back and forth about it. One of them said that the players actually wore UT hoodies. Is that true? Or was he just spouting.

I'm sure Kiffin knows what happened. If he didn't than Jackson wouldn't be on the team bus. He might talk sh%t but he isn't stupid.

As far as we know Kiffin might already have the facts on JJ. If the charges were dropped then no big deal. That being said I don't think he is on the bus, if he didn't dress out last week he won't dress this week!

Probably the best place for him. Nobody has said he's playing in the game. I can't think of a place where Kiffin can keep a better eye on him.

Not out on bond, released without bond.

Don't know how it works in Tennessee (although I went to law school there), but in Texas, if you're released on personal recognizance, you still have some supervision and have to get permission to do things like travel. Not a big deal to get that permission, though, so I imagine his lawyer took care of that for him.
