Where you fishing at? I live in NW MT. Had a blast last weekend, floating and fishing the North Fork of the Flathead River, right on the edge of Glacier National Park.

No. My "want" has nothing to do with it. Your "want" to display your UF arrogance likely does though.

The Big 10 is a shadow of its former glory and Michigan is even more so. It hasn't been that long ago that the Big 10 was the best conference over any given 5 year span. You were also wrong earlier about the ACC being the weakest of the BCS conferences. The BE holds that dishonor by a fairly wide margin. The Big 10 and ACC are neck and neck. If FSU returns to form this year then the ACC pulls ahead.

BTW, I think the storyline of a Montana victory would be more along the lines of the FCS closing the gap with the FBS. The ASU/Michigan shock factor was that it had been a very long time since a big name school lost to an FCS school... emphasis on "name" rather than quality.

This Vol program hasnt been relevant for 10-12 years and their fans act like they are a top 5 program..

The Vol fanbase is quite possibly the dumbest thing in sports and I am including chick soccer, Folfing and midget tossing. Sure they are in the SEC but so is Vandy and Kentucky and they are way closer to the Vols than the only 3 good teams in the SEC.

It is really cute how hard they try to be relevant though I will give them that...."

Recall the name of the user that said that? Just want to know in case I ever cross paths with them. That way I can avoid talking about college football with someone who knows absolutely nothing about college football.

I think the story lines of a Montana win would be that 1) it does not bode well for your SEC season, 2) Dooley hot seat rumblings; and 3) basically only UT and Montana fans would be talking about it past Wednesday.

An FAU win over UF the story lines would be 1) what's wrong at UF? 2) Schnellenberger wants to go out with a big win; and 3) UF cannot win the SECe, and basically no one but UF fans will care about it past Wednesday.

The Ap State win over Michigan was an upset because there was absolutely no way to see it coming. No one has any expectations for UF or UT this year, ergo a loss to an unknown team early in the year means nothing to anyone outside those two teams' fan bases.

Aaaaaah, AlphaGriz. It all makes sense now. My assumption that the person knows absolutely nothing about college football was 100% accurate. Never actually exchanged words with her but I've seen the garbage she spews. Only took one comment to realize she is dumb as a rock. I imagine the wildebeest that is AlphaGriz, looks something like this...

If you actually read the whole thread many of the griz fans that predicted the Griz beating UT was "wishful thinking" and a joke, then below that score they posted there realistic opinion that Tennesse would win the game. :good!:

From Montana's site...Players are probably going to be star struck for the first quarter or so. The Fans don't play the game...

The Grizzlies have two practices Friday ahead of a light Saturday practice, and then the rest of Saturday off. Classes begin Monday, along with the regular practice schedule. The Vols of the Southeastern Conference wait.

"It's going to be an awesome experience," Johnson said. "We don't have anything to lose - we just need to go down there and play our game and see what happens."

"It'll be 105,000 people or something like that," said defensive tackle Bryan Waldhauser. "It's something you'll never forget, probably. I expect it to be one of the coolest experiences of my life, but I also expect us to go down there and win.
