I saw a guy with Stanley Morgan (in the cool old-style Patriots uniform...) in his avatar and it got me thinking.... Was Morgan/Seivers the best duo we've ever had? What about Harper/Pickens? What say you VN? Who was the best ever???

based solely on statistics, you have to put Nash/Kent at the top. I don't think that they are truly the best, but they've certainly got to be part of the conversation.

The corps from the '98 national title team. Peerless Price and Donte Stallworth?

Tim McGee and Alvin Harper were pretty solid too, even without Pickens.... Nash and Kent were probably my personal favorite just because I saw so many games they played in... I don't even remember who was opposite Willie Gault while he was at UT.....

I'd say Washington/Stallworth when it comes to talent.

AND when it comes to being self-absorbed doofuses..... I was at the CFA bowl watching Washington yapping on his cell phone during the game..... I'll never forget that, just like I'll never forget seeing Cedric Wilson yukking it up on the sidelines while we were getting DESTROYED on the field.... Automatic disqualifiers if you ask me....

Harper was not playing with McGee. McGee was a senior during 85' Sugar Vols. Harper graduated in 89' or 90'.:ermm:

For my money it's Carl Pickens and Alvin Harper and it's not close. They made Andy Kelly look like Brett Favre.

Mike Miller was Willie Gault's teamate. The tight end was Mike "Go" Cofer.
