Looking at the schedule, our AWAY slate is Easier but not Easy.

Va Tech
GA
A&M
SC
Candy

The one that leaps out is A&M one week before Bama at Home??

Are they gonna be good at the "Home of the 12th Man"? :dunno::dunno:

Just Curious is anyone knows about A&M??

I'm thinkin' 'bout showing up in College Station...

It's just gettin' to that God Forsaken place and back that doesn't look like much fun.

Plus...those 'yell-leaders' will get on my nerves in 'bout 3 seconds.

Can someone give their insight on what kind of team they will have next season? Did they lose any key starters? I don't know anything about them except that they've had a QB controversy and a couple have transferred...

I'm planning to go to A&M. Think I'll call them cheerleaders just to P em off! 😄👊👍
I can see why A&M hates TX & why TX hates A&M. They're both annoying....and from Texas!....but those 2 go hand in hand!

I think they lost 3 QBs. But Trevor Knight transferred there and is immediately eligible. So. . .

A&M is a game I'm uneasy about. Mostly because you know the level of athletes they have see Christian Kirk,Speedy Noil,Myles Garrett plus Chief. I do think this game is more winnable than let's say 12 months ago. A lot of turmoil especially at qb

The only place that I have been in College Station, besides the Vet school, is the Dixie Chicken. Here is a picture of the alley paved with bottle caps:

I am only seeing 3 true away games. Bristol game is neutral site but could be considered Vol country and we all know what we do to Candy. Every game against them is a home game. We are extremely lucky to be leaving the state only 3 times this year. This is the best draw of a schedule in quite some time. Also A&M doesn't scare me as much as most because they had their top returning QBs transfer and they got Trevor Knight who is average at best. UGA should be our biggest road game challenge.

A&M is a trap game IMO, because of where it is on our schedule. They have talent and some explosive play makers. They also have a new OC who will likely improve their offensive production.

Vols better bring their A game and not let the Aggies keep this one close. Best thing would be to take the crowd out of this one.

Gigging refers to hunting frogs.

His muse did not fail him as he improvised, borrowing a term from frog hunting. "Gig 'em, Aggies!"

Aggie Traditions - Gig 'em

under Sumlin they have been a pass first team who has struggled against teams that could match their speed, think LSU under Chavis. Even with Chavis being there two years their defense won't be elite yet so we should be able to score a decent bit. They always have a good returner so 'teams will be interesting match up. They always have good O-line, they always have good skill position, RB is decent but not spectacular. on defense they have some very talented players who will be headaches but they aren't there on the depth front. pretty sure with the Chief being there we all know what his D will look like. they do have the one D-end in the SEC who COULD be argued to be better than Barnett. they're wide receiving corp is what ours should look like. some big tall guys that can catch and some speedy guys who get open and burn you.

all jmo.

also Sumlin is probably on the hot seat next year, with how much they are paying him he has to produce and not just maintain. so depending on how their season is going before our game that could be factor if they have some bad losses.
