Sitting here in Tarpon Springs, 16 hour drive from Bmore yesterday, man, were we beat. I'm so hyped to see this game. Saw several Big Orange T's on cars in SC and GA on their way here and we all honked and waved. There's only one Big Orange, Only one Power T. Go Vols!!!

I should've hitched a ride down with you.

I just wish it were a little cooler. A noon game and 85 degrees gonna suck. But I am glad to be here anyway.

Could be worse - I was in the downpour at the '96 Citrus Bowl vs Ohio State - never been more soaked at a game.

The on field play made up for the rain that day :)

I'm on my way down...by myself! And stuck in traffic! Screw you guys. Haha.

And since none of you would ride with me, you forced my hand...I'm staying in Gainesville with a gator fan friend because I couldn't afford a hotel by myself!

Needless to say I'm not talking to any of you...

The good news is I did find out that media gets fed free Outback steakhouse during the game!

Sitting in DC waiting on our delayed flight to Tampa. Staying near the St Pete/Clearwater airport, where is Volnation ringing in the New Year tonight?

Was at Busch Gardens today - amazing how many Vols. Battle of the bands was fun and my son enjoyed playing with Smokey. Watching the band march in playing rocky top was a tad emotional for me - last I saw them in person was 18 years ago. Couldn't help but wonder where the years have gone - a sense of coming home. I never stopped watching and believing - but felt guilty for not being in the stadium more often.

My family is having a ton of fun - saying 'go vols' to the tennessee faithful. My wife went to an ivy league school so it is new to her as well. Gotta say - we have a new tradition to follow the vols to their bowl game!

Also ... sounds corny ... we could literally go anywhere for dinner - we chose Waffle House at my recommendation (they have never heard of one). Massive hit.... now dont get me wrong we are hitting Berns Steakhouse tomorrow ☺
