Unaware of any other band playing "Down the Field", but it was sweet when the Minnesota Band played "Rocky Top" after beating Bama in the Music City Bowl a while back.

A friend of mine who played at Vandy says the best part about going to Netland to watch Vandy play is he gets to hear his fight song get played better than he ever hears at Vandy stadium. That’s probably true for other fan bases as well

I was in the Pride for 5 years, we play the fight song for even the smallest of schools and it was one of my favorite parts to pregame. In all my years of away games, I don't remember another band playing ours and I'm cool with that, let it be our thing. My favorites to play (mainly as a trombone player, not necessarily as an overall song) was South Carolina's Step to the Rear and Arkansas Fight.
