Lets say the rest of the players that were involved in the Bar altercation make it onto the roster for the year. When we play Bama or/and Florida, Rogers catches a touchdown pass or one of the DT involved gets 3 or 4 sacks to win a game. How many of the people yelling to throw them off the team will be cheering, givin high fives, and singing Rocky Top?

You are right. Dooley will handle it. After some of the thoughts of some on here glad Dooley is in charge. lol

If they are on the roster they would've received their punishment and taken their place on the team.

if we're in a position to win either of those two games based on one play alone, i will be very excited

I'm just messing with ya! If they are still on the team and have fulfilled what CDD feels is the necessary punishment, then I say its over lets move on and cheer for our team!!

So does this mean you wanna bring D Myles Jr back?

If someone never has to face any consequences for their actions then they will never think twice about how they act.

After being confronted by police he ran, resisted arrest including an elbow to a cop's face, ran again, found hiding under a car, ran again....through Greve Hall ultimately found hiding outside Henson Hall in the bushes.

This all within 3 months of a prior arrest.

Ultimately, our coach has to show the team that he will hold them accountable or he will lose them for good.

We were gonna be bad this year anyway. At this point I'd rather be bad on the field and proud of our team off the field than continuing down this seemingly endless & embarrassing path of incarcerations.

sorry for the rant, but this crap has got to stop

I will, I doubt I'll even think about what they did when I'm in the heat of the moment. Afterward I'll probably think about it and thank god that they're still on the team.

If they've paid their due and served their punishment then fine. We don't know the facts except they showed out and made themselves look like braying donkeys.

I wonder how many headlines are missed when athletes get harassed and do the right thing? What our boys did was wrong, but also seriously wonder what happened prior to spark this melee. To escalate to a brawl of this magnitude had to have a great deal of provoking. Nothing this crazy happens over a "bump" does it? Either way, I will be cheering and praying all involved learned from this somehow

dumb thread. if they were heavily involved they should be thrown off. However I dont think a single Vol fan is going to hold a "should have been kicked off" attitude towards them when they put on the orange jersey.
