Smalls seems to never bounce the ball outside where Wright does. Those 2nd and nothing plays just about blew our game. Wright did bounce his td outside. Thoughts?

JS is our only power back. HIs job is to hit the hole and get the needed yardage. He really surprised Sat with his pass catching out of the back field. Another dimension for him.

Hate to be critical but Wright tends to get in trouble bouncing a little too much. Small is more the bruiser. I'm really excited to see sampson/justin williams continue to grow and get more involved..think both have much higher ceilings long term talent wise.

Tough to complain with Small though - he's efficient, tough, reliable and can hurt a defense receiving too, clearly our best current option.

Our guys are good backs, but we need an upgrade. We need at least one great RB!

Sampson seems like he has breakaway speed. Not sure if he was out this week only due to being banged up during the Akron game or if they're trying to bring him along in other areas that he doesn't excel in quite yet. Speed at running back will take our offense to the next level similar to what Tyion Evans did last year before he was injured.

Sampson was out against Florida with the injury he sustained against Akron.
