you allow for no context on how the season is playing out, and what teams are actually doing. KY is actually good. we'll know more about them in the next couple weeks as their season is really just getting started, but KY looks WAY more difficult today than it did in March, and honestly, Auburn and USCe look way easier than they did in March.

doesn't mean anything to whether or not we win those games, but the extremes you fly to post to post is.....well, extreme.

Kentucky may be good, but in no universe should Tennessee ever lose to them. The fact that its even a possibility speaks to the utter decimation of our program. I never said UT will beat them. Never said that I expect that they will beat them. I said that they SHOULD BE EXPECTED to beat them and every other team in the east except Florida. In other words they would never be considered signature wins. That's all I was saying.

We have not even shown the ability to play close to any decent competition this year. The Georiga game you can say what you will about that. The game wasn't even close, Georiga slept walked thru that game. I would love to see us beat Auburn and that sorry a$$ bunch of bammers , but I just don't see a big time upset unless you are talking about Mizzou, Kentucky, or Candy. And yes, I never thought I would call Candy an upset. This is just the sad state we are in as a football program.

Had our worst year ever last year, hired a first time HC and have been beaten like a drum in our 3 real games. Yeah, looking great...

I mean, technically, with the screwy SEC scheduling, one could go from birth to 18 years of age and have only 2 Tennessee-Auburn games take place in their entire lifetime.

Current system sucks. We should get rid of divisions, every team should have 3 permanent rivals, and then the other 5 league games rotate, so every SEC team plays every other SEC every other year.

Sure, I get your point that Tennessee sucks (hardy har har!), but the bigger reason has to do with the screwy scheduling for East vs West in the SEC.

They are replacing 4 OL that can’t find any rhythm and their RBs are not AU level backs. There is no Kerryon in that backfield that can make up for the mistakes the OL is making. The RBs are not elite, they just aren’t and they don’t have one recruited right now either, I don’t get why they can’t. You would think 4-5 star RBs would be lining up. They thought they had Noah Cain (not sold on btw) but looks like he will head to LSU since is Emery is locked with GA.

TN defense can hold them if Arkansas can hold them. No question. Let’s look the other side.

Special teams, UT has two guys that are as good as any. Punter is All SEC type level.

Hold their offense (Gus does this by himself), control the LOS on offense by quick movement rather in run or pass, and win the special teams. What do you have? UT 20 AU 14

You do realize that we have not thrown for over 200 yards yet this year? Taking advantage of passing lanes is not something JG is capable of. Their D sets up perfect to shut us down because we wont be able to run the ball on 1st or 2nd down and JG sucks terribly on 3rd down. 3 and out and punt......just like the UGA game is how this one will go. The D will hold up pretty good until they get tired and then the score will get out of hand.

We could not throw for over 200 yards against ETSU or UTEP and you think we will be able to take advantage of passing lanes against a top 10 team? Put the bong down and realize that until we have an SEC caliber QB on this team we are going to struggle.

Bray played pretty good with walk ons on the Oline, Dobbs played pretty good with a terrible Oline. Staring down the receiver is not the fault of the Oline. The Oc having no confidence in you is not the fault of the Oline.

Not a good chance of it happening i don't think. You got to find more offense somewhere. They left the defense out there way too long the other day, they were gassed by the 4th.

I’ve been telling everybody this. Tn beats auburn. I can’t give reasons why, I just feel it. I’ve been wrong before I don’t care if I’m wrong again.
