I'm glad his detractors have faded away. This is the type kid you love to have on your team.

He has certainly shut a lot of mouths, mine included. Glad he's doing well.

but but but...

our coaches don't know what they are doing!

Jumper never should have been started.

He wouldn't be starting for any other SEC team

He played WELL against Florida.....but if you watched him closely against UGA and against aTm--you would not have made your post.....

The kid did make a FEW plays against UGA and aTm.....but he STUNK IT UP on a LOT MORE PLAYS......

He is outmatched---and it's gonna get worse against BAMA......

Sorry to deflate your bubble.....I like the guy......but the BIG EYE IN THE SKY DON'T LIE.....

Watch the films of the games and know a little about his assignments...

I KNOW that I'll get called an azz.....but the TRUTH is the TRUTH! He hurt more than he helped today in the overall scheme of the game...

I think all the VN ass clowns who were trashing Jumper and claiming the pay to play crap should have to line up at the Vol walk and Jumper should get to walk down the line and kick each one of them squarely in the nut sack! Someone famous once said "People generally suck" and concerning Jumper VN lived up to this claim.

Jumper never should have been started.

He wouldn't start for this team if our TWO starting LBs were not injured....that's just the truth....HE'S A SUB...and he's starting because the 1st team guys are injured...

He wouldn't be starting for any other SEC team

This is absolutely true--except for maybe Kentucky or Vandy.....

Sorry dude.....he made ONE play all game tonight in a key situation.....that doesn't mean he should be a starter....

:salute:

It's not just your assessment that makes you an azz. It's capitalizing every other word like you just found out about the shift key.

Couldn't be more proud of CJ for the way he's stepped up, improved and played excellent D for the Vols, especially in the face of adversity with a lack of support from the fan base initially. He's a leader by example.

Anyone else amazed by the sheer number of defensive players we have seen on the field? Evan and Elliot berry, Buchanan, Bynum, Bates, obvously Colton and McDowell,....who am I missing? The defense is playing as deep as they have to go....and still pull off stops. These are invaluable reps for these players.....and coaches. Personally I love it....shows how valuable it is to individuals like Jumper.

all of you can go learn how to watch some film and know his assignments then come back and tell me how good he is......

he is an incredible kid who tries very hard and does make some plays.....but he screws up a lot, gets out of position very much.....plays flat-footed sometimes.....slow to react....and usually has a hard time getting off blocks....

but he makes a lot of tackles 7-8 yds down the field so I guess he be good....

lots of folks said the same type of things about the reveiz kid...but he wasn't very good, either....

How's that tampa.....no capital letters.....you all better now bumpkin'?????

Jumper finds himself in perfect position during a dozen plays a game and makes the perfect play on half of them. The rest of them he reminds you why he wasn't a starter without injuries.

No, it's more the assessment.

kb....is that you???

you really want to call me out for making wrong assessments-------like you've made none about the offensive side of the ball this year....:crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy:

good grief, son........pot....meet kettle.......
and you're still wrong....

learn to watch the film instead of counting stats and you just might learn something...
