Be sure and tell him to take it down if the ads have to be there. It's simply not worth looking at.

Of course, you could just ask him to raise ticket prices instead.

I'd be okay with the ads if they were in gray like the pictures, the color against the black and white photos looks tacky.

Not a huge fan of the ads. But, I look at it as a necessary evil if you will.

Possibly another option over the ads would be raising ticket prices to help offset costs of the Voltron. I suspect this would not be an even less popular decision though.

the ads don't bother me all that much but i do see the tackiness. after this year no one will care anymore anyway.

there used to be ads all over the old jumbotron and the stadium, so if they're on the back of our new HUGE voltron then i don't care.

There will be a black border all around the front closing up those edges as well as orange neon, triple row, all around the top and bottom.

I imagine that will also be the same on the back side.

I hate the logos too, but I guess we are just lucky that they do not say, Colonial Bank.

ads aren't too bad, but they could've made them smaller in my opinion. if they're footing the bill for the "awesomeness" on the other side, though, I'll overlook 'em. on a side note, anyone notice that they changed the "i will give my all....." sign on the way out of the locker room? I noticed it on the "practice update" video from saturday onutsports.com Not a big deal, i don't guess. Nope, completely new sign, new font and all. The old one is going in the museum at the Lawson Center when it is completed.

wow...kind of sad knowing that the sign that these players will slap on their way onto the field will be different than the one that peyton and al wilson slapped.

The ads are just a little annoying. I think it's mainly that the colors are bright and the pictures are black & white (especially the Gen. Neyland picture with the Pilot logo). Overall, I like them.

Well we got it almost done. Sorry you guys don't like the ads but how could you. I agree they look tacky especially the color over black and white but as it has been said they are a necessary evil. I have made it back to Oregon for a little R&R with my family and then we'll hit it hard again next week to finish the orange triple row border at the top and bottom. I'm actually happy I'll get a little more Knoxville in my diet. I miss you guys already. I think you'll really like the orange lighted accents when I light them up next week.
