Yeah, that was me. It's a little sketchy up there with very few points to tie off to so "like a boss" I gotta do it myself. Never ask your men to do something you cannot or are unwilling to do yourself. Plus the view is incredible.

First off, I don't know who gave you this information...but we definitely don't want to start school. Plus, first day of class is Wednesday. Why are they making you rush?

I stand corrected, the tuition department wants everyone to start school and would like my jobsite as a parking lot again. It'll take 2 days to break the crane down and clear the lot plus I fly away on Monday afternoon. At least I got see all the honeys arrive :thumbsup:

How many people are on the actual assembly crew for this beast? Do you have any idea how much time was spent on R&D? Must be crazy expensive and I hope they take care of you guys.

4 skymonkeys, 2 electricians, 1 crane operator, 1 crane oiler/rigger. There have been a few days we have a couple HVAC guys and there is always a project manager from the company that supplies the video modules to deal with the politics. I hire a couple day laborers occasionally to clean up the skymonkey droppings (we usually just throw them around at each other) but that's it. Unfortunately such a skeleton crew ends up with the SkyMonkeys working 101 hours this week but hey, that's what SkyMonkeys do.

It's been so long since we've had an update. Skymonkey and Junglebeaver must be working their asses off. I hope it's all going well for them. I was in the stadium Saturday to watch the band practice and I could see them up there on top of the jumbotron. Man, that sure is high. Stay safe guys!!!

Logos are a necessary evil...they funded that bad boy. And the logos could have been bigger. I think overall it is a sweet looking jumbo tron. the other side of it is going to be ridiculous.

well the only one I have a chance to use on a regular basis would be Dish and there's no way I would trade for that. I just don't think Gen Neyland should be kneeling on a Pilot logo. IMO it kinda cheapens the effect

I don't disagree, but it's just the way the sports world is now so I guess I hardly notice anymore.

I was thinking the same thing about the Pilot logo.... oh well, still looks great.

Also, is it me, or were there probably 10 other photo's of EB that would have been better than that one of him? That black face mask has run its course...

well the vols do practice on haslam field so if neyland were coaching today he would certainely have to acknowledge pilot in some way.

All three pictures are absolutely ruined by the ad logos. I know they funded some or all of it but I would have worked out another deal. There should be some things that are considered sacred and pictures of Robert Neyland should be one of them.
