Jumbotron Update

Not quite. It is big - but that was about it until the most recent renovations began. It was old, cramped, dirty and run down.

And? Does that change that it is old, run down, cramped, dark, filthy and outdated?

Is it fun? Yes. Have I ever gone and had a terrible time? No.

I was commenting on the condition of the stadium.

The three cutouts aren't done so this may explain why they aren't fully centered horizontally yet. Also, they're going to have back lit photos in them with Home of the Volunteers written below.

Why would UT have video boards facing the outside of the stadium? This wouldn't make any sense.

Digital billboards are pretty common. That's what those cutouts are.

The cutouts will not be digital images. They will be lighted canvas displays that can be changed, but not digital. Unless, that is, plans have changed drastically since last month.

I know, I was just saying the cutouts will have company logos on them (ads) and digital billboards are commonplace.

Digital ones generate substantially more revenue, so it wouldn't be out of the question at all.
