honestly, i saw it on wednesday, and to me it looks out of place. It really makes the rest of the stadium look old and run-down. i guess the next phase of the renovation will take care of that

I was thinking the same thing, especially if your seats are in front the jumbotron and you can't even see it without temporarily distorting your body.

I like all here have loved the "VOLS" on the jumbotron and it always facinated me everytime i went by and saw it, but what would anybody say if i suggested a full "VOLUNTEERS" on top of the jumbotron to replace it? I would find that interesting. but ol, jumby, i will miss you! you've had a good life...RIP.:salute:

At the risk of being a heretic, I have never liked that sign in the front of Neyland. I don't like the letter styling, plus it's kind of hard to read because the color just sort of blends into the stadium.

I haven't heard that but it does look like it with the way they appear to be cutting out the three holes in the back.
