Jumbotron Update

That is kick arse!!!...Yeah I hope they don't get rid of the VOLS. Is there anything on top of the canopy on the north side? It would go nicely there!

That is going to be an absolutely awesome addition to Neyland. I cannot wait to see it this fall in action!

Wish the screen with the live action was a little bigger rather than 3 separate screens but still looks great.

Are you refering to the side facing the stadium or river?

hmmm ohhhh - forgot there was two going up (both sides)... but even the main one (only 1 screen) has the live action secluded to the left corner... unless the Ben B. player info would disappear and it would extend.

it would. that's the point having one screen with everything on it.

I am pretty sure they can have any combination on the main screen. I believe that picture that is posted is just a generic view. It won't necessarily be "cut up" like that.

Well could all depend on the resolutions possibly but who knows. I know the stuff on the far right would possibly never go away and it may never extend fully across the screen.

Don't think the adds for Texas' jumbotron go away do they?

They do go away during certain times but yes, most of the time I am sure they are up there. It is not "permanent" though.

Oh - well yeah - but I mean for live action shots I doubt they would have the resolution, but who knows with the technology today. The picture they have up there isn't live so I'm sure they can do a lot more cool stuff.

I was very impressed with Arkansas's board in 2006. Here is a picture of live action, though it is hard to tell how good the resolution is in a picture like this. Not to mention we were sitting right next to it. (oh, and ignore the stats in the bottom right corner.........)
