Judge Heagarty's Ruling

“Heupel deserves to be here for atleast 2 more seasons to get things turned around.”

My god , what were your lofty expectations prior to Heupel??

It’s pure lunacy for anyone to think that Heupel’s seat is warm or hot and that we just invested a crap ton in reforming the defensive staff just Heupel to be in a make or break 2026 season for his job.

Heupel is here a minimum of two more seasons before any serous talk about his job status is discussed. Hopefully he gets things turned around over the next 2 years and back to the playoff. Hopefully it’s 2026. But if not, 2027 is gonna be afforded to him to do it.

Outside of some debacle 3-4 win season in 2026, anyone talking about him being on the seat in 2026 is moronic mouth breather.

I watched the hearing and came away thinking that the judge is not very bright. I could barely understand what he was saying because he has a speech impediment. He kept blabbering about, "Well, we don't how much money Joey is missing out on from this year". It was $2 - $4 million, as stated by Joey's lawyer (though any college football fan could tell you that). At one point he said, "I'll let you two take pot-shots at each other". Pretty unprofessional.

He also said, "We can't be handing out these injunctions like popcorn". Heagarty came across like he was more concerned about upsetting the NCAA status quo than Joey missing out on life-changing money that he clearly earned. Gov. Bill Lee was the one who put Heagarty in his position, so I'm pretty unsurprised by his ineptitude.

“We don’t know how much money Joey is missing out on”- is a horrible argument.

Just has Joey submit his tax returns. Black and white. He made x last season and we expect at least that, possibly more based on bonuses

Except that he didn't play in 2019 or 2020. JA's career really started in 2021. He never played a down at the JUCO in San Francisco - was redshirted and the second year was cancelled due to Covid.

You will more than likely be one of the first to complain that CJH did not do enough to keep JA if this season goes south because of the QB play which you have already started doing.

Just admit you want CJH to fail so you can start the fire the coach chants.

And?

He played 5 seasons of Football, He played 2021, 2022 in JUCO, 2023 and 2024 at App St. and 2025 for us. He already used a redshirt in 2019 and he got the Covid year back.

Meanwhile Alabama gets their guy who played in the G League, Ole Miss gets Chambliss back. Our state needs to be pulling in the same direction.

Bediako is no longer on the team after another judge ruled against him, and Chambliss' case is not the same as JA's. Chambliss is arguing for a medical redshirt, he's only played 3 years of college football.
