The dude was only guilty of not winning ball games. He was doing everything he could to try and get Tennessee to compete. He just sucked as a HC and the university needed to fire him, but they didn’t want to pay either.

They used him as a scapegoat.

He and his staff were caught paying players because he was a dumbass with it, he was a terrible HC, so saying he was only guilty of not winning games is false he was guilty of that as well...scapegoat? He was the HC everything falls on him
