He and his staff were caught paying players because he was a dumbass with it, he was a terrible HC, so saying he was only guilty of not winning games is false he was guilty of that as well...scapegoat? He was the HC everything falls on himKeepin it.
The dude was only guilty of not winning ball games. He was doing everything he could to try and get Tennessee to compete. He just sucked as a HC and the university needed to fire him, but they didn’t want to pay either.
They used him as a scapegoat.
He was the guy left standing when the music stopped. Do I think he acted on paying players without the knowledge of the University, no. Everyone has the right to go to court.![]()
