Bragging about having their sixth or seventh coach being our first or second? Really? If UT is such a great program they should be getting their first or second options. The fact is, you got a coach inferior to what you wanted. But hell, if I was UT right now I'd be happy to get anyone that high. Considering your record over the last few years, it's a pretty good hire.

It is true KY hired someone not a experienced head coach, but I'd say we made a pretty good hire regardless. Both programs seem to be satisfied over the hires, no need to argue. So what is UT got a better coach? They should. To be bragging about it shows how butthurt they seem to be.

Best of luck to Butch Jones and Mark Stoops. In 3 years it'll be fun to see where we are for both programs. I hope UT does get better and returns to what they used to be. And I hope UK finally becomes relevant in football. Nevertheless, good luck to UT.

What does UT have to be butthurt about in regards to KY?

If you're comparing the two ADs, then I agree with you. Comparing the two new coaches straight up, Jones is a better hire; I doubt anybody would have taken FSU's DC over UC's HC, given a choice. But, comparing the two hires relative to the histories of the two programs, UK did better. Hart was awful throughout the entire process. The best I can hope for is that he got lucky when Jones reportedly called him after Strong went back on his acceptance.
