He’s scheduled to be a December grad so he’s got plenty of time and potentially another spring/summer ‘23 worst case.

Again there’s no reason not to take his commitment or even signature. There’s no risk because there’s no initial counter limit. The earlier he commits the sooner your academic people can work with him to help get him qualified.

They use to be allowed to label those that struggled in the classroom as "Learning Disabled" and could get them in school, but I don't think that's allowed anymore.

I have a hard time believing every one of our scholarship football players are even average students in the classroom.

All 3 of our guys drafted this year were also All-Academic guys too...

The admissions requirements have been far more stringent since about 2005.
Not just UT either. JUCOs are beefed up now for a reason

Remember this kid in high school. He’s grown a ton the last few years. He was only about 6’1 220ish back then. Was always a very good athlete.
