I think Emerson is just holding out until he makes all his visits. I think his announcement may go all the way up till December but once he commits he's done. I think he is already in the fold though with our staff, with our recruits. He's promised a few people a chance and I figure he follows through. He'll still be all Vol come time to sign. I wouldn't hold my breath on an early commitment though. JMO though.

New Carvin is going to be a Vol, just like Emerson and Cam Jones. Emerson and Cam Jones are trying to get their rankings and profiles up a bit before they commit.

The best news is that Jordan Davis is absolutely raving about his visit privately to everyone around him. He was blown away by our facilities, the culture, the playing time and depth chart opportunity, and Butch\Hoke\Stripling\Shoop. He is already begging his mom to come back and visit campus during fall camp before the season starts because he wants\needs her approval. If Davis makes it back with his mother this summer, id say it's a done deal after that. Big time news. I feel confident our staff can make great presentations for in-state opportunities, academics, support, and playing time for Jordan's mother. She is going to be blown away like he was.

What kind of playing time do we think Jordan's mother is looking for? Is she expecting to start early or would she be willing to play special teams? Also does anyone know her 400 time?😄

Wonder why Davis tweeted out "100% Bama" a couple of days ago? Maybe to get those ignorant Bama fans off of his back and not make it sound obvious that he's seriously interested in Tennessee would be my guess.

Fwiw, Tee Higgins called Tennessee his leader last June... less than a month before filming his commitment video to Clemson. Trying to understand these kids is futile.

This post has all the earmarks of a good ol' fashion Volnation "we are going to get this recruit who in all actuality has no interest in TN" thread.

We've got a reference to a recruit group text. We have a visit that was supposedly unbelievable. We have the recruit clearly stating his preference in schools. We have a "mom really wants him to visit/pick UT" reference. We've got a scenario where we could stick it to Bama.

I'm not saying the kid isn't interested. I don't know that. I'm just saying that we've been through this song and dance enough over the past couple of years to temper our expectations.

To be fair, that's on you. Blaze never promised Teague was coming here, and your stalker-like, week-long overreaction is exactly why some people are leery of sharing info. They can't be 100% positive, and if they are, then you should be skeptical. People are misled all the time, so take their inside info with a grain of salt.

Go back and reread my posts. I never overreacted or stalked blaze. But, I did take a shot at him after he disappeared and he still hasn't posted since Teague's decision. I apoligized, too. U most have me confused with someone else, because I never stalked anyone

Where the hell do u get week long stalker like overreaction? Man, I made one out of line comment and apoligized. I try to treat everybody with respect. U HAVE TO HAVE ME CONFUSED WITH SOMEBODY ELSE
