Tuned in to Minnesota- Colorado game today, and JT Shrout trots out to the field to start the game for Colorado. I was interested to see how well he played today, then on first snap he failed to pick up a blind side blitz, and fumbled the ball. Couple of plays later Minnesota scores an easy TD. Next possession, Colorado brings out a different QB. I felt bad for JT. Guess there's a good reason why he didnt get much playing time at UT.

He's actually a pretty good QB. I watched him a couple weeks ago or maybe last week. He had a beautiful TD pass at least 60 yards I believe. Looked like another video of him throwing to Marquez Callaway in stride. It a couple WR on perfect out routes to the sideline.

Was watching that play myself and can’t blame Shrout for that play. The running back totally missed blocking the blitzing defensive end which contributed to the fumble.

He's always been an elite THROWER. There's elements of quarterbacking he's yet to grasp. Thought that was an overblown Pruitt talking point, but he might not have been COMPLETELY fos.

He learned that from JG who told him to never look to you left.
It does look like the Oline is pretty lacking. He was getting no time to throw while I watched.

He had better stats in the first game than the other QB they’re trying to play. Colorado is bad thou.

It is Beth Mowins. A lot of people find her voice very annoying.

For me it's not her voice, per se, but her phony southern drawl. She's from New York, but she has obviously modeled her broadcasting style on Ron Franklin. It's annoying to the point of distraction.

She does TV for the Cubs on weekends, and isn't as bad at calling baseball, but yeah football is a struggle. She's better than Pam Ward though.

Feel bad for Shrout. Didn't watch the game, but all 3 Colorado QBs had terrible stats, which probably says that's just a bad football team.

Speak not of the devil...lest he appear.

The ONLY time in my life that i refused to watch my VOLS (implode) is the 14 years that clown was trotted out as our QB..

The ONLY multi year starting QB in UT history with a losing record as a starter. Yall remember 13 consecutive quarters without a TD? I do. Wish that I did not.
