I haven't seen it anywhere else on here. I was looking at the stat line on ESPN and JRM was 1 of 3 players for the Lions to have 6 total tackles. Didn't get to watch the game but it sounds like he was flying around like we used to love watching him do here. CONGRATULATIONS TO JRM.

I watched the first half and I think he started on special teams, had two tackles while I was watching, then got in on D in the 2nd quarter and had a tackle and assist and looked good taking on blocks and showing his usual great instincts. Sounds like he had more tackles in the 2nd half.

I think he has the best instincts I have seen in a long time, and that is better than a guy with great size/speed and avg instincts imo.

Just beat me posting about his instincts. I am telling you, he will show teams he is a tackling machine!

He was criminally underrated while at UT. He had numbers that were right up there with the best LBs in the country yet was never named an AA. I hope he has a great NFL career and makes his doubters look stupid.

I wish him the best...but, frankly...you gotta be on the field to get the recognition you may think you deserve.

Just sayin'...

Are you implying he was injured all the time while at UT? If so, it needs to be said that he played in 35 games leading up to his senior year.

If you're saying he won't see the field much in the NFL then that's more realistic. Though hopefully (And probably in the long-run) not true.

My take on his statement was that he wasn't on the field in his senior season when he would have undoubtedly garnered the accolades he deserved had he been his usual healthy self.:good!:

When healthy, he was one of the best LB's we've had here in a long time. Incredible combo of instincts, speed, competitiveness, and intelligence. Going to be a hell of a player for a long time if his shoulder holds up.
