The point was that he coached under Saban. He's a "Saban guy." Hence, his spot on that list.

I hate bama as much as anyone can but if the guy can help us "rise to the top" I'm all for it. Was this guy at bama when Hart was there or what?

Imagine if Butch Jones would have made the same DC hire that Florida State just made. I'm in favor of hiring winners wherever they come from, but the track record of hiring from Bama/Saban has been more negative for us than positive.

None of those guys came here on a seek-and-destroy mission. I just wish we'd stop hiring from a place that has produced such bad results. The only one who wasn't horrible was the one who went back to Bama.

I smdh at anyone who blindly supports every hire we make from an arch rival.

There's no reason to support him or hate him, he's taking a position of very little power, simma down.
