JP Prince Did ya know

I don't think pointing out the negatives in his game is "hating." He does bring a lot of positives to our basketball team, and is a big part of why we are winning games. I think one thing that frustrates fans (including myself) is that a lot of his negatives are easily correctable mental errors (fouling a 3 point shooter, not getting back on defense, stupid turnovers at bad points in the game).

JP is all about momentum. He either starts it or kills it:)

Truthfully he reminds me of how I feel about my kids. Sometimes I'm like "wow, that was great, way to go" and then in the next second I'm like "what are you doing? have you lost your mind?"

The salute is embarrassing and classless - and even more embarrassing when he does it while the team in bounds the ball really fast after his made basket and sprints up the court for an easy two points because he's too busy showing off.

I don't remember seeing that to much. Ain't nothing wrong with it.:finger3:

Probably because you are too busy watching him gloat - or you recently became a basketball fan within the past 4-5 years when Bruce arrived and don't know much about the game. It's happened several times within the past 3 games.

You people gettin on JP is small and stupid!! Are some of you just jealous or do you not really understand what he does for this team. STFU and quit being useless to this team when they need support for the big push!

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!

Shockingly, I agree with this post, Alaska. JP Prince has been an integral part of this team's success. People getting on him have no clue what they're talking about.

He couldn’t work on his shot the past 3 summers due to shoulder surgeries, that hurt him, but it’s not like he was just sitting around doing nothing. I saw him around the basketball complex working on ballhandling drills all the time.

There is no player on this team that I would rather see in the game when the team needs a spark. The haters probably feel the same way but wouldn't say so.

uh, no. Not even close.

But I agree with the rest of your post. I love JP and his ability to break down defenses. Most people hate him because of the other stuff he does on the court (non-game related) but I like players who show emotion and who actually want to be there.

Actually, his overall field goal percentage is pretty good; and this year, his 3-point percentage is in the thirties.

As to the rest of your post, I am sure a lot of people would be excited if a bunch of robots got out on the floor and went through the motions. I agree, without the emotion, what's the point?
