What do you think?
Something new and exciting?
SOS?
If he does the same game plan that he prepared for 2 weeks to get ready for Arky. He needs to go.
No excuses this time.

It's highly likely that whatever games we get in thru rest of the year won't be a full season, so why not more aggressively tinker w/ QB...or if it is a full 10, Pruitt would somewhat get a pass...IF IF IF, he gets HB ready for next year and shows some potential to be who we think he is. Pull the plug on any other QB not named Bailey for PT. Job 1 is to figure out if he's got the skills or get Salter on campus early for Spring ball and get him dialed in.

The O/U on wins this season is at 2.5 right now. If UT holds to current form, only Vandy looks like a winnable game. Notice I said "winnable", not a win.

That's just where this team is right now. Can't score points; no passing offense to speak of; offense ranks 107 out of 123; can't stop the slant; no positive halftime adjustments; coaching staff and players often look like they are on completely different pages / playbooks.

UT Football is hard to watch these days. And while it likely won't fix all that ails the Vols right now, I remain of the opinion that a change at QB is not only needed, it is critical if the staff is to avoid having this team mail it in down the stretch. Apologies to JG, who has the heart of a lion, but the in-game QB skills of Ray Charles. Nothing personal, hoss...but you have been weighed, measured, and found wanting. Here's your diploma, and your clipboard. Both will serve you well in the years to come.

The other issues might or might not get resolved this season. The pieces might or might not fall in to place, this year or next. The sun may or may not rise on a new era of UT Football this year...or next. Jeremy Pruitt might or might not be the right man for this job. But until and unless a change is made at starting QB, there is no chance...zero...that UT Football gets any better this season, and in not doing so is already behind the curve entering the 2021 season. So use the remaining games, however many there are, to set up for next year.

The 2020 season is already a bust. No point in trying CPR on a headless victim. Focus on what can be fixed, and go from there.

Go Vols.

Tennessee isn't beating Auburn no matter who plays QB. You should just get comfortable with that right now. This team is terribly lost and starting a true freshman who barely even knows where the commode is will not change this fact.

I'm not even convinced that there will be more games this year if the pandemic continues to get worse in the next 2 weeks.

So if your hypothesis that "there's no excuse" is what you're clinging to then how are you going to deal with what I just said? Because Tennessee isn't winning that game regardless.

Split the possessions between JG and Bailey. Increase Baileys possessions as he improves. Still gives us a chance to win and makes preparation for us tougher.

but he gives us the best chance to win the game, also the best chance to lose the game, also the best chance to throw pick 6's, also the best chance to fumble at a critical time. He gives us the best chance in many areas.

If he starts, then I am truly lost to what Pruitt believes is the mission.
