Mrs. Joseph,

I am sorry to break this to you, but your son is 3rd round material at best. Not in the same universe with Pearce.

He was better than Pearce last year against the run. If he can continue finishing sacks the way he has this year then he'll be a better overall defensive lineman than Pearce. He's a Day 2 guy right now but with a great season I could see him going in the 1st round.

He has all the tools to be a great NFL player.

There’s simply not enough data for that assumption right now.

He said 3rd round like it was something bad.
That’s an outstanding player if you’re drafted in rnd 3. But because he said in a demeaning way, everyone jumped his case.

Joseph’s is a 4.6 guy. Very good but Pearce was a 4.47.

Josephs could be an All- American this season and still not go until 3rd round because of testing numbers and overall body of works at Tennessee.

Easily my #1 non-Joey player on the team for whom a career-defining/breakout performance can singlehandedly win this game for us. 2+ sacks changes the game for us.

My #1 non-Joey offensive player is Lance Heard - if he dominates at the LOS in both PB and RB then we're going to score enough to win.
Heard had a pancake in the ETSU game that would have made the WWE people swoon. He is really coming into his own.

Not sure why you've got to be rude about this...dude graded out really high from last year and is doing well this season. Pearce graded out at like 92 and Josephs finished last year a 90.6.

I watched part of the Florida game and the announcers said their DE may be a first round pick yet he doesn’t make this top 10. The guy looked like Tarzan.

Proof doesn't mean much to the miserable. Probably a Candy fan anyways. It's insane to say he's a 3rd round pick after two games. Especially, when he lived in the backfield, and was always aroindthe ball.

If he gets +8 sacks this year, he'll be a Day One pick. He's good against the run, but his pass rush has improved also.

Day one is the 1st round.
It used to be round 1 and 2 irrc.

I think people are putting unrealistic expectations on a him. Through 3 years he hasn't even earned All- SEC , and suddenly he's a 1st round pick?

Byron Young and James Pearce had 2 All-SEC seasons each. Both tested ridiculously well at the combine. And only of those guys were picked in the 1st round.

He can have a great year get drafted in round 4, and still have a very productive NFL career.

Can you please tell us again old dad about the time you scored 4 touchdowns in 1 game in high school?

Bro 3rd round money is about $6 million. I’m sure Mrs. Joseph would be elated.

Out of curiosity what round were you drafted?

6 TD's in Middle School 1981. In a monsoon rain 34 degrees.

Never said the guy wouldn't make an NFL roster. Fully expect him to be getting paid next year.

It's the overblown 1st round pick crap I keep reading is what I call orange glasses on.
