Per multiple outlets, Joshua Dobbs has earned their SEC Player of the Week recognition. Heck of a game and well deserving.

Joshua Dobbs, QB, Tennessee: It was tale of two halves for Josh Dobbs and the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday. It was the worst of times in the first half, but Dobbs and his teammates had the best of times afterward, coming back from a 21-3 deficit to beat Florida for the first time since 2004. Dobbs finished the day throwing for 319 yards and four touchdowns, and he added another 80 yards and a score on the ground. It was a huge breakthrough performance for Dobbs and the Vols, as they now sit in the driver's seat in the SEC East.

The skinny: Dobbs and the Vols played noticeably tight in the first half of their game with Florida, one of the reasons the Gators dominated the first 30 minutes and led 21-3 at halftime. But it was a role reversal in the second half. Dobbs threw a pick at Floridas 8 on the Vols first drive his second of the game (the first came in the end zone) but the Vols defense picked him up. (Vols DE Derek Barnett had a huge second half and easily couldve made this list.) Dobbs then proceeded to lead the Vols to five touchdowns in six possessions in a 38-28 victory. He threw four TD passes and scored on a 5-yard run during the flurry. He finished with 399 yards of total offense, the third-highest total of his career. Dobbs threw for 319 yards and four TDs, setting career-highs in both categories despite seeing consistent pressure from Floridas pass rush. It was just the third 300-yard game of his career. He was 7-of-20 for 84 yards in the first half, then went 9-of-12 for 235 yards and four TDs in the second. Florida had not allowed a TD pass in the first 14 quarters of the season. In addition, Dobbs completed seven passes of at least 20 yards; the Gators had allowed just five such plays in the first three games.
