Joshua Dobbs contract details

So by the looks of it, he gets $465,000 plus $138,573 from the signing bonus this year, presuming nothing drastic happens (injury-wise or whatever) and he's still on the roster when the season starts. (So $603,573 this year.)

I would've gladly taken $600k as a 22 year old. Would happily take it now as a soon to be 50 year old. Hope Josh hangs around the league for a decade, makes and banks a ton of money, and gets a few chances to make an impact in the league.

Got a world class education, got drafted by one of the great NFL organizations, got 500K signing bonus, seems legit to me. Where do I sign up for this??? JK

Dobbs is a great person and was a great player for us.

Seriously? In Pittsburgh or Atlanta? You oughta see what that would buy you where I live. He could do a little better than that without being extravagant. How about $250K down and finance $250 or $300. That would still be very very conservative.

Oh, I was thinking Knoxville for some reason lol. $250,000 is enough house for me in Knoxville. Heck I paid $140,000 for a 2400 sq ft home only 20 years old. It was a foreclosure but still.

Senior Bowl was BIG for him.

Always was a good player.

Probably would have been a great player had he actually recieved consistent coaching.

Now he gets to sit and learn
Wow!

Amazing story.

So proud for Josh and his family. I know his parents are very proud of him and he is a great example for all the young people that are following after him. Godly, great student, and super athlete that never quit. Go Vols!!
