Richardson is fantastic.. I have watched ten basketball since the late 50's. He is possibly the best ever defensive player for the Vols. In NCAA tournament had incredible stats.. much better than McRae...should fit perfectly into new system.....

It's been great watching him progress throughout his career at UT. I think he could be a Tony Allen at the next level.

I like the Tony Allen comparison. Both are blue collar players that don't have to depend on just one facet of their game to be productive and give a team a lift.

Both have similar attitudes, as well. TA would lay down in front of a train if it helped the Grizz.

I don't know about "The Rock" nickname. I could go with "The Lock" though for his excellent defensive presence. I do, though, greatly enjoy watching him play. He's got a solid handle, better than average mid-range game, growing 3-point game and surprising runner that was on display in the tournament. We know he truly bleeds orange too. Glad we have him representing the university.

Josh will be an important part of next year's team, if he can take control of this team and become the leader, I think we will have a great team.
